I have to voice my dissatisfaction with the deceptive practice of PCNation’s use of the advertisement “Free 2-3 DELIVERY” one would think that you are going to receive your purchase within 2-3 days when that is not the case.

I ordered an Adaptec 29320 controller card that cost almost $300.00 with “Free 2-3 delivery” and sure the item was shipped in one day. I received the purchase 8 days later via UPS ground.

So be careful and don’t fall for this sneaky advertisement thinking that you are getting a good deal on delivery. You still wait 7-10 days. There are faster, cheaper and more honest vendors on the Internet. I will not be dealing with PCNation anymore.

We chose PC Nation for their 2- to 3-day free delivery. HOWEVER,to get this, your order must be over $200 and weigh under 50 pounds. Further, if you live in California, you will either have to pay tax and have it shipped from a California warehouse (big price jump) or pay a $17 transfer fee to have it shipped from California TO Chicago, then shipped back free. This also adds at least 2 days to shipping.

I was skeptical about purchasing merchandise from an etailer, but decided that the price was so good that I couldn’t resist. I thought I was getting a great deal because they offered it at about $200 below list plus free shipping! PC Nation advertised on their web site that the product was "In Stock" and "New and Factory Sealed". After waiting approximately two weeks I finally received the product that was supposedly "in stock". Each time I contacted them they continued to give me a different story. I only wanted to know a realistic delivery time... the truth whether it was 2 days or 2 weeks! Anyway after finally receiving my merchandise I opened the Sony seal carefully... to only see that it was covering another seal that was slightly smaller in size and cut. Interesting, huh? New and Factory Sealed my a**! It was a refurb! They apologized and offered another unit, but again could not promise a delivery time. I waited two additional weeks and canceled my order. Despite my several contacts into the company I did not receive a credit back to my card... I disputed the charge and all has been resolved.

Just a couple of words. I am located in New Jersey and they are located in Illinois. I ordered a Fujitsu ScanSnap on Monday around 12:00. I received the product on Tuesday around 12:00 using PC Nation's internal express service (which was free). Product is brand new and works great. I am happy.

I ordered a Wacom Graphics Tablet from PCNation. When I placed the order their site indicated that this item was in stock. Two days later - they should have shipped within 24 hours - received an email stating that this item was out of stock. Inexcusable.

I purchased a Brother HL-1850 printer. It's refurbished, but done by manufacturer, in like-new condition,and includes like-new toner and drum. It is supposed to carry a one-year's manufacturer's warranty. I said "supposed", because when I registered on Brother web site, PC Nation is not listed as an authorized vendor. But they can still be, for I was able to enter PC Nation in the "other" field. So, at below $250, with free shipping, this is a good price. Shipping is a little more than the 2-3 they advertised, but is still acceptable.

I ordered a 17" NEC LCD-760V monitor for my computer. This was one of most pleasant purchases I've ever made. Not only did PCNation have the best price, shipping was FREE. So I literally paid the posted price (I don't live in Illinois--so no tax). The customer rep, Paul was excellent, answered all my questions -- like availability and approximate shipping date. The confirmation email PCNation sent had a tracking link, so I tracked the shipping of my package. I ordered it on Friday and got it Tuesday (a day earlier than expected). I highly recommended this company.

Three days after ordering and my camera still hasn't shipped. And now there may or may not be a backorder issue. Ordered a lens from BH PhotoVideo the same day and it's in my hands already. PC Nation needs to take a lesson from those guys. Very disappointed!

PC Nation delivered the product quickly and as advertised. I bought a La Cie 200 GB Hard Drive. Having read some of the review of the store on epinions, I contacted my CC company in advance to provide the info for a secondary shipping address (different from my billing address). I found out it is not uncommon to give this info to your CC company. With that done, the transaction with PCNation was quick and easy.

I ordered a Sony PEG-UX50 PDA the Friday before Christmas Eve. They had the best price on the Net at the time with free 2-3 day shipping and no tax. Plus the $50.00 rebate brought it down to $491.00. I was unable to determine from the website if the item was in stock. I called Customer service and spoke with Brian, who informed me there were 20 items available. At that time he offered to complete my order. Additionally, I let him know that I needed to ship the item to an address other than my billing address. Fortunately he advised me to contact my credit card company after the transaction to insure that there would be no delay in the order process. This is a common practice for card issuers and banks to prevent identity theft. I was emailed a conformation and Fed Ex tracking # the following Monday. The item arrived on time Christmas Eve in the afternoon. The box was well packaged with foam peanuts to prevent damage. This was an excellent transaction and I am extremely satisfied. There were no hidden fees or charges I am aware of at the moment.

SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT HERE
I placed an order for a thinkpad via a credit card.
The next day customer service called and said they couldn't verify my address. I explained I had moved and gave them
my bank phone number. A few minutes later she called back
and said it was ok and now the second step she had to ask me a few questions. Question number - 1 WHAT ARE THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER? I told her I didn't feel it was needed and refused to give it to her. She then said it was for the data base (why not last 4 digits of a phone number). I told her that not any part of my social security number is needed to buy something. She then told me they could not sell me the computer and my order was canceled and hung up immediately. A few minutes later I checked the order status on their web site and it said canceled customer request.
Wrong canceled because I refused to give them any part of my social security number. Fishy

I ordered my Brother 5070N on Saturday, and it arrived Tuesday! PCNation had the best price, free 3-day shipping(it was even faster if you count the weekend out!).

The online order tracking was easy and excellent. The product was in brand new condition, sealed and worked beautifully. I had no cause to contact anyone.

I would definitely buy from PC Nation again.
