Ok with the sale, efficient, not truthful about delivery. Customer service poor

I bought from PC Nation, a Brother laser multifunction printer, scanner, fax. It was a great price with a rebate. Even with the shipping charges and sales tax, because the distributor he was going to use does business in California, it seemed to be cheaper than anything else I could find. Ordered it on March 10, 2009. Was told by the salesman on the phone that it was back in stock, so I could use the MFG's instant rebate, which was expiring in a few days. When I checked online on March 24th, I was told by customer service it was out of stock and they did not know when it would come into the California distributor. It needed to be shipped from Los Angeles to me in Southern California because it was large and would be too costly to ship from another distributor. I asked for a supervisor in Customer Service and was told there was not one. I asked that the
original salesman who sold it to me on the phone call me back the next day. He said he would mail him at that time. I never heard from him the next day, and when I called him at 6:00 PM his time, he said he never looked at his email! Great customer service! I repeated what he said when the sale was made and he said the distributor did not have any in and maybe by the 28th of March, they might have some. I had to ask him to keep checking and call me back, also great customer service!
He claims that he will call me by Monday, March 30th. Lets see! In the meantime, I am starting to check on other sites for this machine, and will cancel this order!
