Being familiar with Overstock.com my experience was as I had expected it to be...perfect! I found what I was looking for quickly, selection was great and my checkout experience was awesome! Thank you Overstock, for making shopping painless and enjoyable.

I do not recommend buying from Overstock.com, it really is too good to be true.  First of all, they got my order wrong.  This caused me to have to return it.  When I did, they only refunded me $21 out of the $55 that I spent!!!  This was due to both: charging for the shipping label and re-stocking fees.  They warned me about the shipping charge, but not the re-stocking fee.

Other complaints I have about this online store is that their pictures and descriptions do NOT accurately reflect the product.  The comforter I purchased was a completely different color than shown online and the sheets were very low quality for being 410 count cotton sateen.

Just bought a toaster from Overstock.com and I wanted to return it because it doesn't brown evenly. Their website "implies" that you can return most things within 30 days.  Well, my toaster isn't one of "most" things.  I went back to the website to look over the product description and ordering information and nowhere does it state that this toaster is "un-returnable", but alas, when I tried to return it 2 days after receiving it, I was told it couldn't be returned.  So here I am stuck with a $100 toaster that doesn't work properly! Overstock has lost another customer.

I've had nothing but good experiences at Overstock.com. I haven't had to contact them about any issues. My orders always arrived in the expected time, without issues. They have become one of my favorite shopping places.

I was very happy that Overstock.com had kept an old credit on my account and applied it to my purchase. I didn't have to remind them of this fact...which was wonderful. My merchandise came very quickly and I was very satisfied with the entire process.

When you know what you want, and you know you want that thing RIGHT NOW, no problem! Overstock is definitely the way to go. Easy to use, fast shipping, great product. I have always been satisfied - until Overstock becomes no-stock and I am left without those slippers I had my eye on! Lesson #1 : buy fast!

Everything went well. Box chair was shipped in was in bad shape--box quality was somewhat flimsy and one of the legs from the chair was sticking out the side when I received it. Don't know if it was UPS or whoever who damaged it so much. Chair itself was undamaged.

Bought an item on a preorder a month before it's release. 5 days after release I get notified that they are out of stock and will not receive my order for at least 20 days.  I can get  a refund if I'd like, but the point of the preorder was that no one will has it in stock. 

When I call I'm told that it can take up to a week to get a refund on my card.  Interesting that it takes 20 minutes for the debit to show on my card, but not the refund.

I took a chance with overstock that I will not take again nor would I advise anyone else to. Ever.  Stay with Amazon or your local stores or even the library.  You'd honestly get better service asking a cat for your order.

Items listed on their site is hit or miss.  Some are good, Some are terrible.  Negative feedback or reviews disappear and never get posted.
My 2-3 star reviews got swallowed by blackhole.  Only 4 or 5 stars will be posted.  Be aware if you don't see any reviews on products.  And also if you see all their product pretty much have 4 or 5 stars.  You would know why...  I think it is bad business practice to show only good ratings and fool people into buying...

Wow, how many people should you have to talk to get an answer on where your order is!?!?

1. Day 15: Called overstock. Given tracking number and UPS phone number
2. Called UPS - told package was delivered on Jan. 4
3. Called overstock back to do a trace on package
4. Transfered to international sales informed package was shipped to NewJersey plant. Given new tracking number that doesn not work

4 people and still no idea where, when or how the merchandise will arrive.

I live in a major city in Canada, not rural Kazahstan. Going on 15 days and still no package or tracking number. I have ordered many times from US and always received a tracking number immediately and received merchandise within 2 weeks, often within 2-3 days.

The bottom line:
The delay is unnecessary and unacceptable. I will not order from Overstock.com again. If you are an international shopper and you are looking for footwear, I suggest http://www.planetshoes.com. They get it.

I bought the London Times shutter type dress in silver for my bridesmaid to wear in my small and casual wedding ceremony. We didn't have a problem with the sizing at all. The dress is pretty good quality considering that it cost only $38. My bridesmaid likes this dress better than the one that I previously purchased at a different site.
