This is the third time I have bought merchantise from Overstock, I have been satisfied with every item. The quality has been excellent, I have received the items on time, and am happy to say I have never had any problems with any of the things ordered from Overstock. I have recommended Overstock to all my friends.

THE REPLACEMENT WAS REFUSED AND RETURNED. THE SECOND EPLACEMENT WAS NEVER SHIPPED. THE E-MAIL CONFIRMATION OF THE SECOND REPLACEMENT WAS NEVER SENT/RECEIVED. YOU HAVE HAD USE OF MY MONEY FOR THREE WEEKS AND I HAVE NOTHING! CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID TODAY ANOTHER REPLACEMENT WILL BE SHIPPED "ASAP." THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE PROMISED TO PROVIDE E-MAIL CONFORMATION OF OUR 5 AUGUST TELEPHONE CONVERSATION AS WELL AS CONFIRMATION OF THE REPLACEMENT ORDER AND ITS SHIPMENT. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCES TO DATE, I HAVE LITTLE OR NO CONFIDENCE THAT I WILL IN FACT RECEIVE THE PRODUCT ORDERED!

The overstock web shopping site is very easy to use. I found what I was looking for very quickly. Check out was also quick and easy. Shipping at a rate of 2.95 was very reasonable. I will definately use Overstock.com again.

The merchandise was good quality. It arrived in a short time, within a week. My big problem was with the wrong tracking number so I thought my purchase was shipped from CA to N.J. when I live in CA. When I contacted customer service on line I was told to wait for the info to update because UPS reuses its tracking numbers. I did that and my package was delivered in N.J. 3 days after I recieved it. It was obvious that I had a wrong tracking number but I could not get any help to find the correct information.

I ordered a number of books for work, some to be shipped directly to employees at other locations. For one person, Overstock shipped the wrong book, a Christmas cookbook instead of the business software book I had ordered. The incorrect book was received 11 days after I placed the order.

When I contacted Overstock by "live chat", the agent said she would mail me a return label, and once the incorrect book was received back in Overstock's warehouse, they would ship the correct book. This would have added at least a week to the 11 days we had already waited for this book! I told her this was unacceptable, and after a brief wait (checking with a supervisor, I assume) she said they would make an exception and would ship the correct book immediately. She still insisted that the incorrect book needed to be returned to Overstock, or I would be charged for it.

On May 31, I ordered a bracelet from Overstock for my dad for father's day. A link from Woot.com gave me a credit at Overstock for $37.00. After ordering, I received a confirmation of my purchase with a projected delivery of 1-5 days.

Today I found out the gift was never delivered and after contacting Overstock, I found out it was canceled and I was not notified. It's two days to fathers day and my dad is 3000 miles away. The live help told me their small print says they can cancel orders if a mistake is made. However, in this case, they sent me a confirmation email telling me my order was placed and verifying the transaction and showing the $37.00 discount.

What bothers me the most is not the loss of the discount, but in canceling my order just before father's day and not letting me know about it. I have never had an experience like this with any retailer before.


Overstock says they sent emails, but I received none. I think they're lying. I strongly suggest no one shop here.

I love shopping on Overstock.com! They've got a really great selection and you can't beat the prices (that I know of, anyway)! I am so happy about my new Steve Madden boots too. The description on the site was perfect and the quality is fantastic! I am very pleased!
