I have purchased several things from Overstock.com and each transaction has been efficient and pleasant.

I was pleased with my earlier two purchases (sunglasses and attache case), but the watch had to be returned because the date function would not set properly on it. Regardless, I received strong immediate response from customer service. After sending the watch back via UPS, I am just awaiting word that my account reflects this return. Still, I routinely check your online sales and will continue to purchase from Overstock in the future....

Its Easy...
They accepted a sizable order form me...
either never shipped it or it got lost...
they promised a trace as only correction...
Ultimatly they held my mony for several months before they finally refunded it...
I then had to buy it elswhere at about twice the price...

I essentially gave them agood sized interest free loan for several months

My first two orders were incorrect. First they sent a california king instead of a king size and then when they sent the replacement they sent a queen size cover and a king size memory foam mattress. I then changed my order and received the correct products.

no packing list enclosed or on outside of the package. It was the wrong size - my fault, but with packing list before opening i could have sent it back for correct size, instead i'm just working with it being alittle too small.

This is the third mp3 player we've bought from Overstock.com. The first one died after 3 months and so we had a credit and were forced to purchase the second one there as well...which after a few weeks died; which brings us to our third purchase. Which was supposedly "new" condition but it was clear that the box had been opened before...so how new the unit was we're not sure; it was not supposed to be a refurbished one. Needless to say, if I had a choice at this point I would probably not use overstock because of all the problems we've had with the players, but it wasn't worth losing the credit and the extra protection policy has come in handy when the other two have died.

I ordered a tv 0n July9th. I was surprised to see that normal delivery was2-3 weeks.Its now July 24. Have not received it yet. Tried to track the status of the shipmwnt using overstock.com's web site. I did not get an answer other than invalid shipping number. This function is very poorly designed at Overstock's web site. Next time I'll drive to Best Buy.

They have no idea how long their item will take to actually ship out. Once an order is placed, you can not cancel it. You must receive the mdse and then pay to ship it back. On top of paying to ship it back, they then charge you a re-stocking fee. I order off the internet constantly and have not had this type of crap before. I would look for the product you want elsewhere, at a more consumer friendly store.

I have had excellent service and received wonderful merchandise in the past year. Delivery is usually faster than stated, I ilke having the reviews from other buyers for a product, and the valuse for the money spent is excellent. Product is usually as depicted or described.

Overstock is great! They have everything a guy could want and more. Shipping is fast and inexpensive. If a problem should arise, their customer service reps are very helpful and friendly and do what they can to solve the problem asap. The order was easy to make. I received a order confirmations email, but I didn't receive a follow-up email with a tracking number. Other than that everything was great.

My experience was a little hellish. Mainly because I live in a small town where we aren't allowed to use our street addresses for mail (but for larger items we are allowed to address it to General Mail); it just so happens that I also live in an area where Overstock.com will not ship- period. After talking to a representative online for about an hour, I had to make the decision to send it to a relative in another state; who will then send the items to me. Although expected, it was a big hassle to go through the purchasing phase only to find out that they wouldn't send the items here. I would be willing to pay more for the shipping if that were an option, but it's not.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a sirius starmate from overstock, only to be heartbroken. After waiting 2 weeks to get the receiver, I called Sirius who informed me that the receiver was already registered, and that the client owed sirius some money! I offered to pay off the balance, but was told it was a higher amount and that it was NOT an option. From Sirius' point of view, the receiver had been stolen....and the only way to resolve the issue was for the original owner to settle his debt and inform sirius about the transfer.

When I informed overstock of this, they asked me "what I envisioned them doing to help me out". I'm not in customer service for a major corp, THEY are. It's not my job to try to figure out how to resolve this issue. Their response was pretty much "of course we are very sorry for this matter, and OF COURSE you'll be refunded the full amount."

Gee, thanks....for absolutely nothing and for wasting my time.
