I was waiting for my order about 3 weeks and Wiley-X Blink prescription sunglasses' "almost udestructable frame" has broken after 4 month of usage even though I used them only for driving car, no outdoors activity. And this is for glasses more than 250$. WTF ??

I own regular prescription glasses that look weaker and it is not "sports" style but frame is made in Korea. And they last more than a year.

I will never buy anything from this store again and definitelly anything made by Wiley X or whatever as it is overpriced Chineese crap and it is made in Taiwan.

I was very impressed with the speed of delivery, the helpfulness and knowledge about the product of site personnel in helping me, and the price savings which were substantial.  My order was correct, accurate and the whole experience was totally satisfactory. The LaserLyte product was everything and more that I hoped it would be.  A great quality product, ease of installation, ease of sighting the laser and great concept have made me a fan of Optics Planet... This was my first shopping experience here. I will definitely be ordering more products from Optics Planet and have already recommended this site to friends and relatives both. As a retired professional soldier, a combat related and service connected Disabled American Veteran and a legally armed civilian whose life depends on good equipment and sound choices, I am not easy to please nor do I recommend services and sites I am not pleased with...my wife was quite pleased, as well. I am a very happy customer and highly recommend Optics Planet to all who want quality products at very competitive prices.

I was looking for Serengeti sunglasses at Optics Planet On-line Store. I was amazed about the enormous choice I had. I ordered on Aug.25, 2009  at 10.00 am. EU time Serengeti sunglasses. The Postman delivered it me on Sept.07, 2009 at 11.00 am EU time. I could daily followed my order on Track & Confirm of USPS. Fantastic!!!! Charley, Holland

They were the lowest price of their competitors but the item was out of stock (found out after purchase).  It would be helpful for the customer to know if the item is in stock prior to ordering.  Other sites show stock levels next to item descriptions.  I would recommend this.  Otherwise....  I would rate this merchant 5 stars.

very poor customer service.
A product was purchased for my wife as a graduation gift. we had no problems with the product at all the microscope was wonderful and did everything it was supposed to, however my wife is currently completing her prerequisites for PA school and has recently found out the product purchased will not meet her needs. Upon reading the companies website they do resell customer returned units as demo's. The websites wording appears to suggest that outside of a 30 day period a 15% restocking fee would be required however upon calling the company and informing them of the situation and that we did not want a refund simply a credit towards the microscope that she really needed the company refused insisting on a thirty day policy that to say the least the websites wording is misleading. BEWARE IF YOU ARE PURCHASING AS A GIFT OR ARE UNSURE OF WHAT EXACTLY YOU NEED AVOID THIS COMPANY

I have ordered several times from Optics Planet, I continue to be amazed at the variety of merchandise available from Optics Planet. I have purchased a front rifle rest made by Caldwell, two spotting scope manufactured by Bushnell along with several other shooting accessories. Optics Planet prices are always competitive and when you add the free UPS (on all orders over $29.95) they are usually lower to the lowest total price available. I do a lot of comparative shopping befor I place an order. I recently purchased a spotting scope,after checking other internet sites prices I decided to order it from Optics Planet. I ordered it on Sunday evening and it was at my house on Thursday. Their web store is well organized and finding a product is easy. Once you set up an account it is very east to maintain and future orders are very fast.

The item I wanted was not in stock, in the color I wanted. This was not indicated until after I made the purchase.  The email trail began.  Planet just says the item isn't in stock.  "What color isn't in stock"?  ... I have to ask.  Of course, they come back with that it is only in stock in black.  Fine, ship it. 

A lot more thought process and inventory management would be nice.

Order placement was quick and easy and the prices were very good. Shipping was quick too and they provided tracking information. I had erroneously ordered the wrong part on half my order and the return process went well with my account being credited the correct amoutn within 36 hours of Optics Planet receiving the return.  bore the cost of the return however. I definitley shop here again.

I was less then thrilled with it. I requested 2 day delivery. After receiving an email I went to the website and it showed the item was shipped on the 13th of August and I did not receive them until the 18th of August. I understand there was a weekend in there but the items should have been received on the 17th. Because of that delay a member of our team was unable to take with him some very needed tools to begin his job. When I called customer service I was told the mixup was with the manufacture. I will think long and hard before I order from your place of business again.

OK-- I would be better pleased if your pictures of the items were larger, and of more than one angel (front and side). Also I got an explanation of a darkfield illuminator that did not make sense to me-I want it for gems, and your teckie said that it was not good for that use???

Lastly, your order form said the eyepieces I ordered were in stock, but they were back-ordered, and I have not received any notice of when they might ship.

Otherwise I found the website usefull and educational, but for a level that is already beyond the neophite.

I recently purchased a  Galco shoulder holster system from you and ordered the wrong one. Their prices and shipping are best, by far. If something happens to be on backorder, they will promptly inform you and let you know when shipping is expected.
