I had a very good exsperience with my dealings concerning Optics Planet.  At the begining there seemed to be a problem as to where my order originated and the staff at Optics Planet became concerned about a possible hacker and we worked thru it to their and my satisfaction.  Otherrwise the whole process of ordering to delivery was very smooth and quick. I price shopped a lot before buying and found their prices the best. The large selection of products and the information on all the products allowed me to choose the product that was right for me.  Upon reciept of my order, I tried the new binoculars and they were what Optics planet said they were. After selecting Optics Planet I have no regrets and would order from them again.

I'm very pleased with this company. They offer free shipping and a 5% discount promotions and their customer service is helpful. They also accept Paypal, which always makes me feel a little safer when paying.

One disappointment was that out of stock items aren't listed (one item I ordered happened to be) but it only added a couple days to the shipping. You can always call CS and ask them directly if the item you want is in stock.

Otherwise I recommend this business!

I love this place. they have almost anything you need when it comes to optics and accessories. They have a friendly customer service department and all of my orders have been shipped lightning fast and were exactly what I wanted. I spend thousands of dollars every year on optics and accessories im glad to have found a reliable company with competative prices and great service. I hope to do bussiness for years to come. I only wish there were more coupons available. They also have price matching so if you find what you think is a better deal they will match it as long as they are an authirized dealer of that product. Thanks for everything Alan.

As usual, I received my order in a very timely manner.  Also, the cost was well below any other source I reviewed on the internet.  I have ordered several items from Optic and have always been very satisfied with price, shipping, and order accuracy.  When an item is out of stock, Optics always notifies me when the item  becomes available.
The order tracking is very helpful.  Free shipping on items usually saves me from 15 to 20 dollars on the item.  Optics always has the best selection, best price and excellent sercives.....

I ordered some small electronics batteries from Optics Planet.  The image for the item I purchased clearly showed a two-battery pack.  When my order arrived, I received single-battery packs.  I emailed the store twice, with a copy of the image from their website, and received no response.  I finally got a response from the third email I sent, which said "Thank you for your valuable feedback! We really appreciate your input!"  There was no response about my specific complaint and no attempt to resolve it.  I would not shop at this store again.

The website has good descriptions of the products but was poorly organized.  I found it necessary to refer to the manufacturer's website to properly understand the range of products and differences between them.  Otherwise, Optics Planet promptly sent the correct product.

This was my first purchase from Optics Planet, but it will not be my last. They have a very wide range of products and a good selection within each of those lines. I found a scope and rings and a mounting plate for the whole assembly for my Remington 597 22 cal rifle. The order process was easy and the time from order to receipt of goods was excellent.

I have placed an order with merchant on May 19, 2009. I got a confirmation email, and a notification that the items(3) are on back order and should be available within 5-10 business days. After 10 business days i called the company to inquire as to my order and i was told that the item are not ready and they do not know when they will be available. One item from the order was available but they were not willing to ship it with charging me extra $7.
I canceled the order.

I you online ording.  It is easy to find what you want and get it ordered.  The instant notification for your order and shipping.  In my case there was a backorder and I was notified that there might be a short delay.  I had my order in 4 days.  I highly recomend Optics Planet Online.

I wasn't sure which product to buy and called their support line. The operator was helpful in my selection process and put me through to an equally helpful order placement operator. The product took a few more days to come than I thought, but I'm sure that had more to do with my excitement about getting their product than any shortcomings on their part. A good web purchase experience from obvious optical device experts.

I placed my order on Saturday, and selected a 3 day ground delivery. I never received a confirmation email.  My package finally arrived the following Friday, and this email is the first one I've received since ordering the product.  I love the product, but am totally displeased with the promptness from ordering to receiving the product.  The money was drafted from my account almost 5 days later. I recommend that as soon as an order is placed, the customer receives a confirmation email immediately, and the money should be drafted from the customer's account at that time.  I was left in the dark wondering if I even placed the order, due to the fact that I didn't receive a confirmation email, nor did a hold or a draft show on my bank account.  I couldn't track the item because I didn't have an email with a confirmation number.  Again, I love the product, but the promptness of delivery was bad.

Outstanding company to deal with and an overall great experience and will look to them in the future for all of my optics needs. I bought a pair of binocs from them, got them at a great price and when receiving them found I didn't like the focusing system. I returned them with no hassle and got a FULL refund. Purchased a different set of binocs from them, got them in a matter of days just like the first set and absolutely love them. Again, purchased at a great price. I ordered the Streamlight TL-3 "Shock-Proof" from Optics Planet after several emails with the Law Enforcement & Military Acct Mgr whom was VERY helpful.

I received this flashlight in Iraq 7 days after ordering. Being an active duty Marine in a combat area this light has proven to not only be rugged, well made, light weight but the best part in my opinion is the battery life & brightness...it's amazing. I use this light nightly a couple hours at a time and have yet to replace the batteries after 3 weeks. 

The adjustable beam lights up a dark room when adjusted to flood and can spot light individuals out to 50 yards when its completely dark out. 

This light is HIGHLY suggested, well reccomended and I will have no problem saying it is well worth the money spent.

I purchased the BlackHawk SERPA Sportster for my M&P 9c. The price was the lowest that I had seen anywhere else so I was happy with that and the shipping was lower than all the other sites too! I was not sure if my model of gun would fit the holster since it is the "compact" version of the M&P model and only the full size version was listed in the options menu for the holster so I used the "live online help" to ask. The online help person, who was very friendly, CALLED the company and personally asked about the holster fit for my model of gun! Blackhawk confirmed that it would fit perfectly. WOW! That is service! The shipping was fast also! The holster arrived in perfect condition and it does in fact fit my gun perfectly. I will be using Optics Planet in the future for sure.  Keep up the great work Optics Planet!
