They are the worst! Go somewhere else. They false advertise their items. Customer service? What customer service! RUN!!!!!!!!!! All of their great testomonials are done by people they have on staff. I got burned twice by them. THe first time I thought it was just a fluke, but then again on the second time same stuff. Like I said RUN AWAY!

OpticsPlanet is THE best, by far!!!!!!!  This was my first order from them, and the ease of finding what I wanted, the unbelievable prices, the flat-out awesome communication about my order, and the amazing speed with which my order was delivered were fantastic!!!

I wasn't.  And, I normally don't participate in these time-wasting, very boring surveys.  However:  I shop a lot online, and am mostly a mildly-satisfied to downright unhappy customer.  Most merchants don't give a darn about you or what you want, they just want to sell you something and then get on to the next order - OpticsPlanet is the exact opposite!  They went above and beyond my wildest expectations, and have gained a customer for life from me.  A first-class, fantastic company in my humble opinion.  I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for anything to do with optics.

This has been the single worst experience I have ever had dealing with any company.  You sent me a defective item and then informed me I wasn't qualified to install the item in order to cover yourselves.  Then your customer service representative advised me I could return only the front sight of the combination ordered.  Upon receiving the front sight, you then tell me I have to return both sights.  Upon recognizing your representative sold me to return only the front sight, you agreed to return the item to me.  Now, your telling me I have to pay to have the item returned.  You need to get it together!  You have no idea what is going on!

It took OpticsPlanet's contractor, Focus Optical Lab of Aurora, Ill. three weeks to deliver a set of prescription bifocals the accuracy of which aren't anywhere close to being correct or acceptable.  I had the glasses checked by my local optician.  The distance prescription values are entirely wrong and the bifocal segment height is more than 50% of the total height of the lense.  Only a very stupid and incompetent individual that knows nothing about eyeglasses could have made a set of glasses where the bifocal segment so high.  I am very dissatisfied with my OpticsPlanet purchase.  I won't purchase anything from them again and would strongly recommend to others that they do not order prescription eyeglasses from OP

Last year you had run out of the yellow flashlight and you e-mailed me in time to make the switch which worked out well for my clients.  Communication is always the key and your staff uses it well.

I ordered a telescope and received a message that it was not in stock.  I asked for a recommendation for a telescope for an 11-year old who has not used a telescope before.  I received a very detailed, informative message back recommending several telescopes and books.  In addition, I received 5% off the next order.  This was excellent customer service.  I ordered another one and several days later came back and ordered 2 books to go with the telescope.  I would recommend Optics Planet to anyone looking for this type of equipment!  Thanks for such good information and service.

This is not the first time I have purchased something on OpticPlanet website. I have no complains about the products, service, or the company at all. Every time my purchase experience is excellent. I hope it will continue in the future as well.
I bought these items for my dad. He always surfs the Internet and looks for the best deals. Somehow, he always end up picking items from this website. It looks like they always have best deals and the biggest selection.
Delivery speed - received items faster than expected to receive. Actually, the items were delivered faster than it was estimated by the company itself. I am very satisfied on how the company handles shipping and item packaging.
Order accuracy - some items were out of stock, but I got immediately notification about that. As soon as items were in stock, I was notified, and they have been shipped to me right away.
Customer service - did not have to call customer service, because everything was handled in a timely manner and with quality. Item packaging was careful and protected my items from breaking.
My overall satisfaction - excellent and I definitely recommend this website to my friends.

Asalways, Optics Planet is most competitive where price  and value are concerned. The item I ordered, a Leupold scope was brand new and in perfect condition. there was one small billing issue that momentarily overdrew my bank acount but the customer service representatives rolled up their sleves and quickly solved the problem. Since purchasing the scope, I have also ordered a scope base and rings from Optics Planet and that transaction was flawless. Among net merchants, Optics Planet is one of the fastest to ship. They provide easy access to tracking information and order status. All thogether I had a positive experience with Optics Planet as I have on previous transactions.

The goods I ordered were as described on the web site with about a 20% discount over retail. The UPS shipping was both fast and free which adds up to even more savings. I purchased a SureFire M79 Flashlight 6P / G2 Gun Mount - Universal Clamp Mount 1" Ring from Optics Planet. I mounted a G2 in it, and attached it to the Picatinny rail on a tactical helmet. All seemed good until I attempted to release the latch on the mount. When I did it snapped in two. The ring portion is metal, but the latch portion is plastic. I contacted Optics Planet for a return/refund and was told there would be a 15% restocking fee because it had already been mounted. I was advised to contact Surefire if I wanted. I did, and never heard back from them. Curiously enough, the email from Optics Planet directing me to this survey reads: "We want to ensure that our customers are treated well. If you were less than satisfied with your shopping experience, please let us know by replying to this email so we can take care of your issue." Obviously not wanting bad reviews. I responded to the email, and did not get a reply. This is my last purchase from Optics Planet.

This is my third order with this company. The first time, I received the wrong item: a holster for a Glock, and not the revolver I ordered it for. The lady on the phone I spoke to about a return was dense; couldn't understand that not all guns are the same, and what the problem was.  
The second order went perfectly.  The item was great, in stock, and arrived quickly.
The latest experience was annoying.  I ordered three items, only to get an email several hours later saying two out of the three items were not actually in stock.  Had I known that this would have delayed the order two weeks, I would have ordered elsewhere.  I think the website should specify if an item is in stock, or on backorder before an order is placed so the customer can decide to wait or go elsewhere to buy.  
I have not received my latest order yet.  Hopefully it will be correct because returns are a pain.

Once again, Opticsplanet takes care of business. The items I ordered were in great condition, well packaged, and received quickly. The only hitch in the shipping was the items couldn't be shipped to my P.O. Box as originally intended, but that was no fault of Opticsplanet. They promptly notified me of the problem and once I provided them with an alternate address, the items were on their way. I want to again mention the fact that when I ordered a Burris red dot sight from Opticsplanet last year, I received it lightning quick. I ordered the item late on a Friday night, or early Saturday morning, and received the sight the following Monday. That is the fastest shipping I have EVER seen, not to mention I got it at the best price on the net. They also have answered several questions I have emailed them regarding their products and responded promptly with friendly and accurate answers that really helped me out. Way to go Opticsplanet, I'll be a customer for life.
