I recently made my first purchase from OpticsPlanet, but it will certainly not be my last. I was very impressed with the company, from their website and selection to their customer service, delivery speed, and prices. I purchased the Leupold VX-III 4.5-14x50mm Rifle Scope from OpticsPlanet. Needless to say, when you’re spending $600 on a riflescope, you want to know it’s good. I was able to speak at length with a product specialist at OpticsPlanet who really knows his stuff. We went over a few different options and eventually settled on the above mentioned scope, as we decided it was the one that would best suit my purposes, budget, and demands. I was extremely impressed by the product specialist’s expertise, and I never felt I was being “up-sold” at all—their aim at OP (no pun intended) is really to get the customer fitted with the best product and to give it to them for the best price. After I decided on the Leupold scope, it was shipped and I received it (at no cost to me for shipping!) in a couple days. I have been extremely pleased with the quality and results of this scope since I received it, which reaffirmed by impressions about the company really knowing what they’re talking about with regards to optics and employing the best people they can as specialists. At some stores, both online and actual brick-and-mortar retailers, the salespeople simply don’t really know what they’re dealing in. I have been hunting my whole life and have owned more than a few guns, scopes, and accessories of varying price ranges, so I know a little bit about the products. At OpticsPlanet, I actually felt like I was speaking to a kindred spirit who knew the products inside and out. As I said, the customer service was very friendly and accommodating every step of the way, and the price was definitely right considering the scope I purchased (I saved about 20% of what I would have paid elsewhere). This is a great, knowledgeable, and professional company about whom I have no complaints whatsoever. I will most definitely be shopping with them in the future.
