The goods I ordered were as described on the web site with about a 20% discount over retail. The UPS shipping was both fast and free which adds up to even more savings. I was given a tracking number by email and was able to know exactly when my package would be delivered. I will shop with them again.

I purchased a SureFire M79 Flashlight 6P / G2 Gun Mount - Universal Clamp Mount 1" Ring from Optics Planet. I mounted a G2 in it, and attached it to the Picatinny rail on a tactical helmet. All seemed good until I attempted to release the latch on the mount. When I did it snapped in two. The ring portion is metal, but the latch portion is plastic. I contacted Optics Planet for a return/refund and was told there would be a 15% restocking fee because it had already been mounted. I was advised to contact Surefire if I wanted. I did, and never heard back from them. Curiously enough, the email from Optics Planet directing me to this survey reads: "We want to ensure that our customers are treated well. If you were less than satisfied with your shopping experience, please let us know by replying to this email so we can take care of your issue." Obviously not wanting bad reviews. I responded to the email, and did not get a reply. This is my last purchase from Optics Planet.

This is my third order with this company. The first time, I received the wrong item: a holster for a Glock, and not the revolver I ordered it for. The lady on the phone I spoke to about a return was dense; couldn't understand that not all guns are the same, and what the problem was.  
The second order went perfectly.  The item was great, in stock, and arrived quickly.
The latest experience was annoying.  I ordered three items, only to get an email several hours later saying two out of the three items were not actually in stock.  Had I known that this would have delayed the order two weeks, I would have ordered elsewhere.  I think the website should specify if an item is in stock, or on backorder before an order is placed so the customer can decide to wait or go elsewhere to buy.  
I have not received my latest order yet.  Hopefully it will be correct because returns are a pain.

Once again, Opticsplanet takes care of business. The items I ordered were in great condition, well packaged, and received quickly. The only hitch in the shipping was the items couldn't be shipped to my P.O. Box as originally intended, but that was no fault of Opticsplanet. They promptly notified me of the problem and once I provided them with an alternate address, the items were on their way. I want to again mention the fact that when I ordered a Burris red dot sight from Opticsplanet last year, I received it lightning quick. I ordered the item late on a Friday night, or early Saturday morning, and received the sight the following Monday. That is the fastest shipping I have EVER seen, not to mention I got it at the best price on the net. They also have answered several questions I have emailed them regarding their products and responded promptly with friendly and accurate answers that really helped me out. Way to go Opticsplanet, I'll be a customer for life.

OpticsPlanet order was completed and shipment made in a most timely manner.  Very good communication via email regarding order and shipping was conducted by OpticsPlanet.  I really like how OpticsPlanet embeds a hyperlink in the shipment noticifaction to UPS tracking number.  This saves a couple steps when checking for the delivery date.  Order received was correct as ordered and product found to be satisfactory.  I highly recommend OpticsPlanet online retail store based on my past shopping experience.

I purchased 2 Lyman Rifle Case Length Headspace Gauges in .223 & .308.  They work great and make sure that everything I load will fit in my rifles perfectly.  I made the mistake a while back in not fully sizing a couple of rounds and it stuck in the chamber when I needed it.   It's embarrassing when that happens and couldn't have happened at a worse time. These tools will prevent that.  At a low cost also. Fast shipping, good prices and quality products, I’m happy with my purchase.

The Vortex Crossfire 2-7 power rifle scope is very easy to sight in and the cross hairs stand out very clearly when you are sighting in on your game. I highly recommand the Vortex Crossfire scope to any person who wants an accurate inexspensive scope. I would give this scope a five star rating. Delivery speed and order accuracy are excellant. The overall satification exceeded my expectations. On opening day of deer season I got a six point buck at over 200 yards with poor light. Both the crosshairs and the game stood out very clearly in the scope.

Fits the HK mark 23 perfectly. It functions well and more than meets all my expectations. I use this holster for tactical courses and training it is both fast and provides excellent retention. The hood lock system provides the operator with a secure hold for weapon while allowing for a relatively fast draw if needed. It is very durable and has held up under some of the most harsh circumstances imaginable. Having experience using other holsters under very demanding situations it is clear that this holster is well designed and durable.

I have ordered from Optics Planet a couple of times before and this experience as well as the others was very enjoyable. Communication is very good, shipping is very fast, the quality of products and prices are great. The only suggestion I would have is if the availability of products was shown before an order is place. I have worked in retail for 25 years and understand out of stocks and appreciate how my recent back order was handled, but I would have probably chosen an alternate item if I had known before I placed my order. I was very upset about the LasarMax sight that I ordered from you. I opened the box and someone had already installed the batteries in the sight, so I went ahead and installed it in my pistol. The batteries that you sent with my LasarMax sight only lasted about 3 minutes before going completely dead!!  I had to go out and buy new batteries, at a cost of over $25.00. I expect better from a sight that I spent almost $300.00 for. I fell that in all fairness, you should refund me the cost of the replacement batteries or at the very least you should send me another battery pack for the LasarMax sight!! I will be waiting your reply!!

I did a lot of surfing for this rifle scope and then found the Optics Planet site.  They offered the best deal on pricing.  I was pleased with the security of the site, easy ordering and fast delivery.  The layout of the web site was easy to move around in.  Products were displayed in large pictures and had a detailed description.  They kept me informed via e-mail on the confirmation and when it would be delivered.  The scope is on my rifle and sighted in.  I am ready for hunting season here in W. Horrible. I got many different responses to questions regarding my order. Meaning one person told me one thing and one person another. It's taken 2 weeks to get my order and still haven't received it. At least I got my expedited order extra payment back. I am not sure saving the little I did on the glasses was worth the hassle.

This is my second purchase of Wiley X Jake perscription glasses from Optics Planet Online (first pair dark lenses, second pair, yellow).  As products, I am more than satisfied: they are comfortable, lightweight, attractive and entirely effective.
As to the service I received...it's been better than the glasses!  The price was by far the best I could find, the ordering process was simple and smooth, and I was actually startled at how fast my glasses were delivered.
At this point, I can honestly say that I will no longer have to shop sites for future eyewear purchases; Optics Planet will be my sole destination online.

Service was above average. Product was something else. The stock bullet "Bulldog Butt Stock Rifle (Holds 8 Cartridges) WBSR" held the.30-30 rifle cartridges very loose. The cartridges had to be placed all the way to the rim to keep from falling through. There was not enough tension in the elastic. This was the same for the bandolier.  The elastic was to large for the standard Winchester 94 stock. It slid al lover the place. It did not hold the cartridges in place. Hence the "one size fits all" claim was bogus.

The service and web experience was good. However, the products were not.

I was in love with some Serengeti sunglasses that I wore religeously.  One day my dog broke them, accidently, of course.  Because I live in Fiji, it's almost impossible to find quality sunglasses.  I found Optics Planet on the net & emailed them a description of my glasses because I could not find my model on-line anywhere.  Optics Planet did the research & immediately responded to me with the details, saying my glasses were a limited release & not manufactured anymore.  They suggested another line, saying the lenses were the same size & would be an excellent replacement.  I went with it & ordered 2 pairs.  I was going to be in the U.S. in a week so it woked out perfectly.  They came quickly, undamaged, & I'm so happy with them that I'll be ordering from Optics Planet anytime I need more glasses.
