This was a great online shopping experience. 

I purchasee a pair of New Balance sneakers just like the ones I had been wearing for over a year--every day, I might add.   You can imagine what they looked like.  I thought it a slim chance that I could find the exact same ones still available.  Surprise! 

A brief Internet search turned up onlineshoes.com, and sure enough, they had what I was looking for.  I ordered them on a Sunday afternoon, and surprisingly, they arrived at my home Thursday morning.  Onlineshoes had filled the order, and it had literally crossed in the country in four days! 

The only "negative" (and I say this lightly) is that the email shipping notice actually showed up a day AFTER the sneakers arrived!  Being they arrived so quickly, there was no reason to go check the order earlier anyway. 

Although I do not need to use any of the links within the shipping notice email, there are clearly useful links incorporated in it.  There are links to rate them, do an exchange, do a return and one for customer service.

The UGG ultimate boots that I ordered on 12/29 took the full 10 days to get to me.(Jan 8) I then discovered they went on sale for 41% off the original sale. 4 emails to customer service required me to contact them thru their 800 number. After terse words exchanged, they ultimately credited me money back on my credit card, but the tone was to guilt me about being "informed of their 10 day price adjustment policy because people price check the internet daily" No they don't, not if the online merchant has a generous adjustment policy of more than 10 days. In the end, my satisfaction was their concern and for that I am grateful and thankful. However, customers need to monitor their site daily for price changes and the need for requesting adjustments within 10 days, or be ready to do battle with their customer service reps.

I recently placed an online order for a boot for my wife and chose Onlineshoes.com as they offered free rush shipping to arrive by December 24.  After ordering, I read reviews recommending to order a size larger.  I contacted Onlineshoes.com via phone and they indicated that they could not cancel the first order as it had been processed but would create another order and send me a return slip.  Just found out today (Dec. 26) that the representative failed to indicate rush shipping and delivery date will be January 5!  All I got for the trouble was, "sorry".
I've had better experience from Shoes.com and Altrec.com.

A day later and the problems are compiling.  Looks like they altered the shipping on the first order to arrive eleven days after Christmas and the tracking number provided for the second shipment was bogus.  I contacted their customer service via e-mail and the response started out by stating how happy they were that my order had arrived and that we were pleased with the boots.  Huh?  Nothing has arrived!  Also, no apology, no customer relations offered...if you want good service and shipping as promised, shop elsewhere.

Well the summary tells all. I ordered a pair of shoes, got it and found it has broken lining inside. I called them and they insist I do an exchange, but the shoe I got doesn't have my size anymore! So am I supposed to be forced to buy another pair of shoes?

I liked the product, the website is easy to use, and it's great they offer free shipping and free returns. However, I never received the rebate that was offered when I placed my order and no one got back to me when I tried to contact them. I've been wanting to order to more pairs of shoes but I'm waiting for the promotion that was offered or for someone to atleast respond to my e-mail and they won't do anything over the phone. I've started looking elsewhere as it's been almost two weeks since I placed my order.

The one problem is that, like so many goods offered for purchase, there is no indication as to the country of manu- facture. Also, as with most goods today, these were made in China. I try to buy American if possible because of the weakened dollar and imbalance of trade. The shoes, Timber- land, once were made in this country--but not now. The quality of these is good except for how the sole are attached. I believe they are glued on rather than sewed. Thank you.
