6 1/2 weeks ago I ordered an item from OnlineSports and was given a shipment estimate of 2 to 4 weeks, and a statement that I would be informed when the item shipped. 4 weeks came and went, and I had received no shipment notification, so I emailed them and was given a new shipment estimate. That date came and went, and I received no shipment notification, so I emailed them again. I received no response, so I tried to call their toll free number. I kept getting an "all circuits are busy" recording on their toll free number, so I called their other number. After holding for about 30 minutes, I finally got through to an operator. I explained the situation and asked when my item would be delivered. She had no information, but she would pass my information request to someone who would be able to respond. The next day I received an email with another new shipment date, and the explanation that the supplier was behind in production, with a breezy comment that I would have before Christmas, so there was nothing to worry about. The email closed with an apology for the inconvenience caused by the supplier's production delays. The most recent new shipment date was two days ago, and of course I haven't received notification that the item was shipped.
I'm assuming I won't get the item in time for Christmas, and I have no confidence that I'll receive it in time for a Valentine's Day gift. Production delays I understand and can excuse. I can't excuse the lack of communication from OnlineSports.com, who, by the way, were quite efficient in taking my money over six weeks ago.
Terrible customer service. I would advise against doing business with this company.
