I first ordered from One Call (then called "One Call West")
back on June 1, 1994 (prior to the web site days) and was
amazed with the courtesy and effort spent by Jim and Paul
in helping me make my decision on an Onkyo Integra M-504
power amplifier ($576 delivered from One Call, around $800
plus tax at my local retailers) and a month later when I ordered a pair of Phase Technology PC 8.5 speaker systems ($830 delivered from One Call, unavailable in my area but their MSRP was around $1200 per pair).

Both the amplifier and the speakers arrived quickly and in
EXCELLENT shape. BTW, the amp, which weighs almost 50 pounds
came double-boxed; the speakers, at 90 pounds per unit came
in their original boxes.

On December 7th, 1995 I order from them again; this time a
Sony TCK-717ES cassette deck (with Sony's 3 year parts and labor warranty)for $314 delivered (the "high-end" shops locally wanted around $400-$450 plus tax). Again, EVERYTHING about the order went smoothly and the unit is still functioning fine to this day (knock on wood).

In 1996 I had the craving to buy a 32" TV monitor to supplement my Panasonic 27". I researched video magazines and shopped locally and decided on the Hitachi 32UX8B. My local Circuit City wanted $1099 plus tax but I was given a quote from One Call West of $835 delivered. Too good to be true? NOT SO!!! The unit arrived unfeathered in one HUGE box. The set has excellent image quality to this day although I have been "snooping" One Call's website looking at HD Rear Projection TVS to "raise the bar" in picture size.

The point is this: From 1994 to 1998 I purchased quite a lot of audio/video products (some from mail-0rder vendors and a few locally). Of ALL the mail-order vendors from whom I purchased, the overall BEST price and BEST service came from One Call. I can't overemphasize (is that spelled correctly?) the excellent experiences I have had with them.

Ahhhh, but what about THIS century. Well, about 2 months ago I decided to purchase a second VCR to do some tape dubbing from my private collection and "scale down" my VHS tape collection. I let my fingers do the "walking" at One Call's website and ordered a Toshiba W-727 VHS deck for around $115 delivered. Even thought THIS time I wasn't communicating with One Call staff by phone, I can still say that my order went "without a hitch", the unit arrived promptly and "double-boxed", and is in good working order.

Maybe I have just had good luck with ONE CALL but I have NO hesitation in giving a positive referral to ANYONE considering making their online order from the "one and only source of audio/video electronics", One Call.
