I placed an online order for a $250 Samsung TV stand from OneCall. It was one of the worst experiences I had. I must be one of the unlucky few, because most people give this company a good rating, and it was one of the reasons I chose them. My online order was supposedly "processed", my credit card was charged, and shipping was promised via 3-day FedEx. I received both an online and an e-mail confirmation of this order.
But after waiting over one week for the FedEx delivery, I phoned OneCall. The customer rep said the item was in stock but not for me since I didn't order the TV that goes with it ($3,000). I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He actually told me that they would not ship my order and that my only options were to buy the TV or cancel the order, which I immediately canceled. I wasted the whole week on this order. What irks me most is that they never bothered to e-mail or phone to tell me they had no intention of shipping my order.
I then ordered the TV stand from Crutchfield, with no problems at all, although it cost a few dollars more. I now know why the name of the company is "OneCall". It means that after your first call, you aren't likely to call again for another purchase. But if you want to order from OneCall, at the very least you should phone and verify the info on their website, and particularly if the item is currently in stock.
