People who know me well know that I really do not like to shop. This is especially true if the items I need to purchase are for myself and even more true if they are things I really don’t WANT to buy. Therefore, when I discovered I was expecting my 3rd baby I was convinced that I would not need to purchase any maternity clothes. However, as my pregnancy progressed I realized that what I had from my two previous pregnancies just wasn’t going to get me through an unseasonably warm autumn. I needed summer maternity clothes (mostly tops ans I was still able to wear shorts and capri pants that had elastic waistlines) and I hit the stores looking for sales towards the end of September. Most stores had nothing left for summer.

I decided to try searching online and was surprised to find that the Old Navy online store had exactly what I needed and at great sale prices. From the moment I logged onto their website, I was impressed. It was very easy to navigate and had a link for the maternity section right on the homepage. Pictures of each item were readily available as well as sizing charts and with maternity clothes a recommended trimester. Color swatches were also available but of course you need to remember that your computer screen may or not accurately represent the color of an item. Coupon codes were listed directly on the homepage as well. All their summer clothes were on sale and I was able to purchase eight tops (more than I really needed) for about $80. Because I spent over $75 I got free shipping on my order. The clothes arrived quickly and my order was easy to track. A few of the items didn’t fit properly and I was able to return them to my local Old Navy Store without any questions asked. A refund was easily credited to my account. This is a great option for me as I really don't like to waste money on return shipping even after I get free delivery on a product. I am also lucky enough to live within a short distance form various Old Navy Stores, although I do not believe any of them have a maternity section.

I have since returned to the Old Navy online store to purchase clothing items for my children and found that I was able to get similar shipping deals and service. I highly recommend shopping at the Old Navy online store.
