It's not always easy to find the type of furniture you want at a given office supply store, and when you need something that adheres to specific measurements, it's almost a given that you are going to go online to find out what options are out there. That is how we stumbled across OfficeFurniture.com, and all of their furniture products sold online. The first thing I noticed was the slow loading time of the site, which in itself may not be frustrating to everyone, but can pose its problems. On the front page they do provide with a nice little advertisement though, stating that they offer a 9-year guarantee on all of the products they sell online. Not too bad if you are worried about something breaking, and something that might convince someone that this is a reputable company.

If you can think up a type of office furniture, you are probably going to find an option sold at this online store. You may not find all of the best known brands, but the product selection is pretty vast in their search engine. You can purchase desks, tables, chairs, bookcase, entertainment centers, and even nice wooden filing cabinets if that is what you are looking to buy. They offer nice color pictures of the different products, and the photographs are large enough that you can actually get a good look at something you might want to buy. We were looking for a specific product, square tables to mount against several walls, and we needed to find specific measurements to put to use. They offered just that, and we were able to find 4 36 inch tables, made of a light oak, with a black stem and base that would keep the table stabilized.

The tables were marked down a little bit (about $55.00 each) which was nice, and they make sure they tell you exactly how much you are "saving", along with a percentage of your discount (23% here). The cost wasn't too bad, a little cheaper than what I think it would have cost for a similar option at the physical store. The process of selection, putting the stuff in the cart, and getting to the check-out wasn't too difficult, but when it was time to take a look at the shipping, that was a little bit of a shock. The cost for shipping by ground was $140.00 on a purchase of $716.00, and oddly enough they didn't charge us any tax on the purchase (I am not complaining). The purchase was made during the summer, and once it was complete they sent us notification that we would receive it between the 9th and the 16th of the month. Not exactly prompt or exact when it came to arrival time, which was also a little surprising to me.

The tables arrived in good condition, and we were able to put them together pretty easily. They didn't take all that long to get here by ground, and though it was a big shocker to have to pay that much on shipping, I guess it was understandable due to the weight of the combined cartons (312 pounds). You can check your order on their web-site to figure out where it is across the country, and it does update nicely. If you can set aside that you are going to have to pay a lot for the shipping, and that they cannot give you an exact date of arrival, you may find that this company can fill your needs. The furniture on the site was very affordable, so in that regard it was a purchase that we were happy about in the end. OfficeFurniture.com seemed like a pretty good site in the end, and though it does have some slight downfalls, it is still a business that I can recommend.
