I have ordered from the Office Depot online store multiple times and have yet to be disappointed!

MY LATEST EXPERIENCE

I have actually had two shopping experiences with them in the last few days.

The first one was when I placed an order for some office supplies and a shelf since the order was over $50 I was given FREE shipping and had the order sent to my house. It arrived the next day. I used a coupon which gave me $25 off a $75 order.

The last order I placed was yesterday for a task chair that was on sale for just under $30. I added some push pins to bring the order up to $30 and used a $15 off $30 coupon. Since my total was under $50, I saved a shipping charge by picking it up at the brick and mortar store.

Both orders were placed without a problem. The order I had delivered arrived on time and was packaged well. The order I picked up was complete and waiting for me when I arrived.


THE WEBSITE

I find the website a bit over done ~ there is so much information that it is hard to find what you are looking for! Add to this a large number of clicks per product and it can get frustrating! For example my daughter had seen a calendar she wanted for the pictures and we tried to look it up on the website. This is the route we had to take • Office Supplies then • Calendars & Planners then • Calendars & Wall Planners and finally to • Wall Calendars before we could get to list of calendars! 4 extra clicks just to find out they didn't have it. By using the search option you can cut out 3 of the clicks.

There is a RED bar that with six choices • Office Supplies • Furniture • Technology • Business Center • Company Information • Customer Service

Under that there is a BLUE bar with • FAQ • Email Help • Phone Help • Tech Depot • Rebate Center • Office Depot Credit Card • Order a Catalog • Site Map

There is also a Search Option which works with both keywords and item numbers.

All of these options follow you throughout the site making it easy to get from one area to another.

Once you find an item you want, you can add it to your list or to your cart. Each item will show an estimated shipping cost as well as tell you how much more you will need to add to qualify for the FREE shipping.

Check out consist of all the regular information. Once you are registered, check in is faster since all your information is saved.

There is a place to add coupons and since Office Depot puts out a lot of coupons be sure to check for them BEFORE ordering!

After submitting your order you will get a confirmation number on the final page and then a confirmation email with all your order details.

Orders OVER $50.00 are delivered for FREE while orders UNDER $50.00 are charges a shipping fee based on the aggregate weight of the order. The minimum amount charged is $5.95 for orders weighing up to ten pounds and goes up to $148.00 for a thousand pound order. It seems to me that ANY order weighing a thousand pounds would cost over $50.00 and be FREE!

One way to AVOID a shipping cost on orders under $50.00 is to pick up the order at a Office Depot brick and mortar store.

To do this you first need to specify which location you want to pick up at. They will then check that store's inventory and if they have your items, you can pick up your order anytime after 4 hours of placing your order. Since you still get an email confirmation, you can just print that and take it with you to the store. I have done this many times ~ from 4 hours to two days later ~ and never had a single problem. I just walk in hand them my email and they get my order. I then sign for it and leave, quick and easy!

Sales tax is added on orders shipped to addresses located in CA, CT, NC, and TN.

I like Office Depot for many reasons. I LOVE their next day delivery and their FREE shipping on all orders over $50.00. I also appreciate being able to pick up my order at the store if I want. I am always looking for a bargain and with all their coupons, I can always get a good deal! I have never had a single problem on any of my orders and therefore I would recommend Office Depot Online Store to anyone looking for office supplies and furniture.

As always, check, check and recheck A LOT of sites to make sure you are getting the best deal!
