Considering the very bad experiences I have had with other companies like West Elm and Overstock, Office Depot is the old reliable when it comes to actually delivering things. If you buy some paper, pens, etc. it does not take much to get to $50. Heck, one laser printer cartridge will more than accomplish this task.

In fact, I much prefer Office Depot online to Office Depot the actual store which is about 15 minutes away. The local Office Depot has really poor service even when the store is completely devoid of customers. I should say the service is very uneven. Sometimes people are friendly and helpful and, at other times, they seem determined to ignore as many customers as possible.

With the online store this obviously is not a problem AND they actually keep things in stock. After all, this is one major reason people shop online - to avoid annoying and unhelpful sales personnel.

One problem with the Office Depot website is its inability to delete accounts properly. I must admit I have given up on keeping an account just for this reason. I do not want to have to call up a person just to get this glitch fixed.

Even with this aggravation, I am so pleased with the delivery that I still give Office Depot online high marks and will continue to get my office supplies there.

Now if they could just do something about the actual store....
