I will never shop there again even if I have to pay twice as much somewhere else. I ordered a microwave hutch from them and am I sorry, their customer service is beyond terrible!!! The 1st time Fedex lost the package, but since The OD gave me the wrong delivery date, it had been to long for Fedex to trace it (past 10 days). But OD's on line order tracking showed it had been delivered! When I called to have them file a claim (per Fedex) they sent me to the resolutions department-some foreigner I couldn't understand. He had to repeat everything 3 or 4 times and I still not sure what he said. What's worse is he couldn't understand what I was asking him. They are not taught to converse in English only to read what is in front of them(THEY NEED TO HIRE AMERICANS). When I finally got it ordered again I was tying to track it on The OD's site and the number he gave was was not complete. So here we go again with the foreign customer service rep who tells me it had been delivered. After about 30 minutes on the phone, explaining that the last OD rep had promised me a delivery date of 3 to 5 days not three weeks (like the 1st time) I finally got a Fedex tracking number and tracked it every step of the way. I stayed home all day again, it was delivered at almost 7 pm. After the Fedex driver is gone I realize it's the wrong cabinet. Here we go again with the foreign customer service. I was so upset I had to wait until the next day to call them to calm down a bit. I finally told them I wanted to speak to the corporate office. They would not give me a phone #, but did connect me to them (I think). That poor lady got an earful. I did tell her that I knew she could not do anything about the foreign customer service, but pass on a message, and I was sorry she was getting the brunt of my wrath. She did not call me back like she said, I had to call her back. At least she gave me a # to call her direct and not go through Asia or the Caribbean. She is supposed to be crediting my credit card and someone is supposed to pick up the cabinet I did not order by Tuesday. We will see what happens. My fight may not be over yet.
UPDATE INFO
Well The OD sent one of their trucks to pick up the cabinet on Monday Dec 3. When I checked our credit card account on Thur the 6th they still had not posted the credit to it. When I called, Sandi told me it had been authorized on the 5th and it should take a couple of days, check back on Monday. When we checked it was there. It took a week to get it back but I'm glad it's over.
I found another cabinet at a 'Sauder' outlet store which I can see on display and pickup myself at a much cheaper price.
