I have the most negative customer experience with Office Depot online orders.
I placed the original order for the student desk a month ago. It was delivered on time, however the desk was of poor quality and was damaged.
I called back for the replacement, and told the customer service that no one is at home until 4pm EST, they tooka note of it, however the delivery truck tried to delivered twice, each time before 4pm. I called customer service and asked if I can leave the damaged desk on the porch, so that they can pick it up the damaged one and leave the new one on the porch. It wasn't an option I was told. Eventually this "replacement" order was sent back, and I was advised to place the whole new order for the same desk and pay again. The customer service said I'll get the refund as soon as the damaged one returns to the warehouse.
This new order, was supposed to be delivered yesterday, October 8, and my son stayed home just to be there when your truck arrives. The order wasn't delivered! When I call the customer service, they told me the order was sent to the wrong address.
So, I was advised the order will be re-delivered the next day. I took a day off and was here from 8:30AM to 5:30PM EST to wait for your shipment. In the morning, I called the customer service, and was told the package is on its way, in fact, the truck has supposedly 40 deliveries to make, mine was 23rd in line.
The order WASN't DELIVERED the next day either. I called the customer service after 5PM, and they tracked the order and told me that the "package wasn't on the track." The warehouse LOST the item. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS IS?
They seem not able to deliver the new desk and pick up the damaged one, yet they said I can't return the damaged desk to any of their store location!
I would never shop at Office Depot store or online.
