I do alot of online shopping and my recent experience with Office Depot has been the worst. I made a purchase online for a product that was on sale for a limited time. They confirmed my order via email and gave me a delivery date. I was home all day and there was no delivery, nor any notice of a delivery attempt. I checked their tracking site and it had my delivery date pushed back two days. Again, no package, no notice. So, I called their customer service number and was told that their driver attempted delivery but that no one was home to accept the package. Really strange since I was home all day and no one came to the house. She said she would have to re-do my order and to expect shipment within a few days. I then receive a call from OD stating that they canceled my order completely because they did not place the second order correctly. When I tried to fix the problem and get my order, the sale had ended and they would not honor the previous sale price. customer service said there was nothing they could do and nothing they did. This was 14 days ago and they have still not refunded my money to my credit card. This is definitely the last time I deal with Office Depot. What a nightmare!


*Update: I called their customer service again yesterday to find out what happened to my refund. Of course, they were "unable to process a refund" and said that I would have to speak with another dept which was closed when I called. The "service" rep said she would have someone call me the next day to resolve my issue. So, I get a call from office depot "customer service" today at 6 am. No, I did not need a wake-up call from office depot and when I answered they abruptly hung up but my caller ID caught their number. As mad and frustrated as I was before, I am now irate. They call again and leave a message saying there is no record of a credit or refund to be given. I am to call the same customer service number who can't place a refund and I go through the same run-around. I ask to be transferred to someone who can help with the refund and no one answers. Has anyone had any luck getting a refund for a cancelled item?
