Nothing But Software is an online store that sells a lot more than the name would make you think, and does a great job at providing computer peripherals at great prices.  I hadn't heard about the Nothing But Software web-site before, but when I was looking at buying a new photo printer, they were offering the Lexmark that I wanted at an extremely good price.  I checked out a couple of reviews right here on Epinions, and ended up deciding that the store would indeed be worth giving my business.  I didn't do a lot of perusing through the web-site itself, because I knew what I wanted ahead of time, but when I did go to find the printer on the web-site later, it was extremely easy to navigate.  Not only that, but it provided quick loading time, and many different options on how to purchase and have the printer shipped out to my address.

Using the Nothing But Software web-site, I made my purchase using a credit card, and went through the process of creating a quick account on the site.  They allow users to also just operate on the site using a guest account, so you won't have to provide a lot of information if you just want to buy something and have it shipped.  The downside to being a "guest" though, is that when you come back to look up any information about your order, you won't have the same privileges that a user with an account would have.  Keeping that in mind, I suggest just setting up an account from the start, just in case there are any issues, because that will make it easier to not only check up on your order, but to contact the web-site if you have any issues with what your shipment.  After entering in all of my billing information and my shipping address, I was given the choice to go with several different shipping options, all based on what I wanted to pay, and how quick that I needed the printer in hand.

When going through the shipping, it was a tad on the expensive side, most likely because a lot of their products, and specifically the one I was ordering, are a bit heavy, thus bumping up the cost to ship it out.  I went with their expedited ground shipping, noting also, that it would take an additional 1 to 2 days for the order to be processed before it was shipped out the door.  The cost of the ground shipping was $17.70, and not too bad in my opinion, especially with the great deal that I was already getting on the printer.  The day after I placed the order, I received a confirmation e-mail, just asking me to confirm that it was my credit card being used, to which I responded that it was, and the site went off to send me my new printer.  It took two more days before the order was shipped, making it a total of 3 days since I had placed the order before it was shipped.  That's slightly more than they advertise, but I guess not too big of a deal if you aren't trying to rush out your shipment.

We received the printer the next Monday, which was only 7 days after I had originally placed the order on the Nothing But Software web-site, and actually much faster than I had anticipated receiving it.  Being a new user to this online store, I was pleasantly surprised with how fast the printer made it out to our house, and they made it very easy to begin using our new Lexmark.  The printer was shipped in its original box, which was a little beat up, but the printer was fine, and I ended up being very happy with using the company.  I think that I have walked away with a very good opinion of the Nothing But Software online store, and it is one that I wouldn't mind recommending for my friends and co-workers to use.  They were offering my product at a great price, which was between $75.00 and $100.00 cheaper than other stores, my product was shipped very quickly, and my overall experience with Nothing But Software ended up being pretty much perfect.  I highly recommend Nothing But Software dot com as a great place to purchase affordable printing devices.
