Respone is too late for product questions.The shipping schedule isn't on-time by UPS.So,why I need to pay extra charge for UPS?

My experience at Northern Mountain Supply was a good one. Both items I bought were on sale, and I saved $105. Where, if these items had not been on sale, I would've paid $290, I paid $185. My order tracking didn't seem to be up to date, but, nonetheless, my order arrived on time.

The headlamp and accessories were received in perfect condition, at a good price and on time - a minor out-of-stock item (regular bulb costing less than $1.50) was removed from the order, which was not delayed because of this. The only problem was that there was no estimate of shipping time, no email confirming shipment and no UPS tracking number provided, though my email inquiry was responded to quickly. I ordered another item about a year ago and in that case did have confirming email and a tracking number - since both shipments took eight days from CA to NJ, I consider the latest one to be "on time". It's worth joining their "mountain club" to get 10% off, they have not bothered me with emails etc.

Thanks for changing the website. The old one really sucked. The new one is awesome and is better than most other outdoor companies websites. The one thing that needs to be changed is the size of the photos on the site. Even when I click to enlarge them, they are still to small. Go to Sierra Trading Posts site to see how big and clear the photos should be. They make theirs extra large so you can see every detail.

The store was fine and the reps are nice. I just didn't get my order because they were out of stock. After a few days of no response or notifications, I called them to check up on the order - that's when I found out they voided my order. My suggestion would be to always call your order in. Their website is not the most accurate in terms of availability, but the site has good descriptions of the items you're interested in.

Thanks for the prompt delivery of my order (via my parents in Florida). It is somewhat frustrating that a single item purchase ($9) carries such a high international delivery fee. I would be a frequent customer if the shipping costs were more in line with the actual cost an order. You offer excellent pricing and quality products.
