I bougth at Nordstrom online the Mac hello kitty brushes , and another item  at day 12 , I waited and waited for an email with the shipping confirmation and tracking number wich I never got , so I use their live chat services where they give me an expected delivery date , so I first got the brushes set(about day 19 ) and 4 days later I 've got my other item , they charge me more in taxes then what the estimated said , and I think they charge me twice in shipping and handling ,and I 've got the rest of my items by 23. So I was very desappointed about the costumer service information, also the packing was very bad.

I turn to Nordies now and then for cosmetics and shoes, since I live in a rural part of Montana. Over the past five years my experience with Nordstrom.com has been less than ideal.

I find Nordstrom online service to be far less than what I experience in store. Shipping is VERY slow, and Nordies often opts to ship my parcels by DHL At Home, even to my commercial address, which then means that my parcel is delivered by DHL to the post office, and then delived a few days later. ALl this even though DHL drives through our commercial district almost daily. And I haven't yet found a way to communicate this to Nordstrom.

Overall, for cosmetics, if you know what you want, go ahead and order. But Sephora is much faster, and Zappos is the benchmark for service on shoes - selection and service both ROCK there.

Nordstrom splits pairs of shoes for patrons with medical mismatches (at least 2 size differences between feet). They send both pairs to patrons, patrons pick the 2 shoes needed and then send back the "extras" for free. They frequently offer free shipping with a certain amount of purchases and have friendly online and phone customer assistance. All returns can be taken directly to a Nordstroms store as well.

Nordstrom Online (Beauty Hotline, et all) has been excellent in all my dealings with them!! Everything is received as ordered and always in at least 3 days sooner than the disclaimer they issue with standard shipping. But then, of course- I have really never had any issues with Nordstrom anywhere as long as I have shopped with them (since 1989) in the Washington DC area. I would say that sometimes they hire PT workers who might not be as invested in the company and the "Nordstrom Way"- but if ever an issue comes up I know how to get it resolved to my satisfaction. You just bump up to the next higher level- manager; store manager; etc.....
Anyway- I love Nordstrom!!!They are the best!!

Nordstroms has almost anything you need to buy. They have a huge selection on clothes, make-up ,shoes and home supplies. They have a very helpful customer service team. The order accuracy and delivery speed were perfect. I was overall satisfied.

I loved Nordstroms online I have never had such a great time shopping online and have never seen so many great bargains. Shipping is speedy and the customer service is great. You can send returns back or take them back to any nordstroms store. I loved my online shopping experience with nordtroms.

I ordered three times from Nordstrom. The first time all the sizes were wrong and one dress looked like it was made from paper (poor quality material). The second time one item was suppose to be a child's shoe and a adult shoe was sent. When I contacted CS I was told sorry the child's shoe was out of stock (yes this was several weeks before Christmas and was suppose to be a gift). The final order was a coat that was marked down 15 minutes after I placed the order and called to followup to be sure it was in stock. I question the price difference and was told they would give it to me this time. That was a week and a half ago, I just received the coat yesterday, it smelled and looked worn... I'm done.

P.S. The price of the coat was not adjusted.

After many years of shopping in their stores, after my online experience, I will no longer be a customer.

I ordered a christmas present on November 25th, thinking that would be sufficient time to get it delivered, etc. After 3 days, I received a message saying my item was out of stock, and wouldn't be in stock until Dec 27.

I expect more "real-time" inventory from Nordstrom. I should not have to wait 3 days to find out that they don't have something. This is 2004, and online stores should have fixed any glitches by now.

I also expect Nordstrom to "make it happen". If I were to go to a store, they would call another store to get the item and have sent to me at no charge. They would find me another item to replace it, they would work until they've made helped me find a gift that's suitable. That's what they are known for.

I was completely disappointed with this online transaction.

My first experience with shopping with Nordstom's on-line was exactly as I would have expected from Nordstrom's. It very much met my expectations.

Their communications about the order from the time it hit their ordering system's queue until it was shipped was greatly appreciated. My order was delayed one week based on it's availability, and they kept me informed of what was going on with the order. I truly believe that how a company handles challenges is just as important as providing a quality product.

Excellent customer service and wonderful clothes -- especially when they're on sale! If you have an exchange via mail, sometimes the shipping can be slow, but usually things come very quickly. The pictures are very true-to color and are modeled well; I've not been disappointed with any purchase from Nordstrom.

While I enjoy shopping at the real Nordstrom stores, I will never again order from Nordstrom.com. After waiting nearly two weeks for the merchandise I ordered, I complained. In response, I received a condescending response that didn't address my concern. When I replied, I received no answer at all. After such a snotty first response and a complete lack of response to my second complaint, I am left feeling that Nordstrom.com does not uphold the same customer service levels as their regular stores.
