some good things some bad things

The first page that comes up when you look say under women's tops is a little overwhelming there are too many pictures and you can't select a viewing option. I also noticed that some of the clothes were often repeated on different pages which came up in the first search which is a little distracting because you keep clicking on things you may have already seen. Is this a marketing trick? I am used to anntaylor.com and I prefer their clean website aesthetically. Let's just say that their website could use a little more style and be a little more user friendly.
I was very impressed by how you could view models wearing the clothes (not available at gap.com or anntaylor.com) and sometimes from different angles which is very helpful - but unfortunately not available for all the clothes.
I did find it surprising that the feature where the store recommends "you may also like...." that would go with the product you're viewing, they would give a substitute product, i.e. linen pants go with more linen pants. I think some people might like that for comparison purposes.
The biggest problem I had was that I ordered 4 items and I received two. On calling them they said that the items were cancelled because they were no longer available. They did not even notify me about this! This is seriously inconvenient if you have say purchased things that are meant to be worn together, and half the outfit is not sent. I would expect them to let customers know when the order has changed and to confirm whether they would still want the remaining items. I don't think I would feel comfortable shopping there again.
