Order # 84259319..Purchased Antec Neo Eco 400 PSU. It was flawed (one female connector on PSU main connector smaller than others.) It ended up ruining my motherboard (an ASUS board I had for 2 years.) After posting a review on reselleratings.com a Newegg rep. "Diane" called me offering a 100% refund. I informed her I repaired the PSU and only a 50% refund (covering the final cost/loss of a replacement motherboard) was all I asked. I got an e-mail stating it would take "3-5 business days" to credit my account. It is business day # 5 and the refund is NOT posted or even pending. I just ordered a "complete" home theater LED projector "system"...guess where I did not buy it?? A company is only as good as its word.
UPDATE: Refund posted to account, but not when promised. |

I ordered a pc from Newegg, and unfortunatly it was sent to me defective. Needless to say after three days the computer had stopped working. Unfortunatly in the three day time span the computer was working I had gotten rid of the original box that it was shipped in. So now a 3 dollar box is going to leave me stuck with a 1500 dollar paper weight, because of Neweggs poor return service. They recomended I go through the manufacturer, but they will only fix what is borken and quite frankly I dont want something that broke within three days fixed I want to shop elsewere.

price was great, product is what we wanted, however, they kept the order in the processing stage for more than a week, because the shipping address was different than the billing address for the credit card. Had a similar experience at another online merchant, and because of it an associate who had shopped at newegg before and had an account agreed to purchase it for my son who is away at school, hence the different address. so after my poor kid waited two weeks because of the online merchant I used, he still waited another week because of newegg. NO communication whatsoever from these people, virtually impossible to get a live human to speak with and they are holding money hostage, and have still not shipped it. I should have paid 50 dollars more for the same product at office max, got my reward points and a rebate, then fedexed the stuff myself. It would have cost me the same amount and my kid could do his schoolwork.

I ordered 2 different micro USB chargers from NewEgg.com. Found it odd that the order was immediately split into 2 separate orders, but no big deal. Unfortunately, one item was delivered and the other was not. I filled out an online inquiry which was not responded to for several weeks. In the mean time I made a telephone inquiry and was told that NewEgg could not help me with the product that they sold me and I would have to contact their supplier myself! I guess their policy is customer disregard rather than customer service.

Every purchase I've had with Newegg has been flawless. The speed with which they process orders is perfect. Living within 100 miles of their SoCal Warehouse is beneficial, if I order something on Friday or Saturday - I usually have it on Tuesday. The only time I had a problem customer service resolved it without issue.

**Update 08/18/2011** Hours after I wrote this opinion, I was contacted by Maverick from Newegg.com. He apologized and assured me that he would standby the product (although ASUS didn't). True to his word, we sent it back and he immediately credited our account (he would have given us a full refund but I thought a refund was a good compromise). I WILL DEFINITELY USE NEWEGG.COM AGAIN.
Bought an Asus notebook from them on 02/27/2011. In May of 2011, the defective unit broke. I had it repaired through Asus and got it back in the beginning of July 2011. On July 22, 2011, the unit broke again (same exact problem). Told Asus that I wanted a replacement or refund; they direct you to Newegg. Newegg refused to replace or refund me for my Asus G53jw notebook even after acknowledging that they were advised that it was defective. They claim that it is Asus' problem and Asus claims that it's Newegg's responsibility to replace or refund. Do not buy from Newegg or an Asus product " |

I needed to get an order on Saturday in order to complete a build for an employee that would be starting on Monday. I order the necessary parts from NewEgg, chose Rush Processing and "NewEgg Next Day Air", thinking naively that the only Next Day option would default to FedEx. Imagine my shock and horror when my order confirmation came through with a UPS tracking number. I talked with a customer service representative whose position was basically, "tough cookies, it's already shipped, have a nice day."
After years of being a loyal NewEgg customer and recommending them to countless friends and colleagues, this is the second problem I've had with them and UPS in 4 months. I am extremely disappointed and feel abandoned by NewEgg. I know other parts suppliers that would have made this right rather than ignore the problem. I will be using them in the future. |

Ordered laptop memory on Sunday from Newegg. Also ordered small cable and adapter from two other merchants. Cable merchant, Newegg and me -- are all in California. Cable shipped USPS arrives Tues.; adapter shipped USPS (from Pennsylvania!) arrives Wed.
Memory from Newegg delivered to their DHL shipper on Monday, ships following day then arrives at a city 10 miles away on Wed. 4:30 a.m. It's now Thurs. 6 p.m. and according to their tracking info, it's still sitting at the terminal 32+ hours after arrival there. Maybe I'll see it before the weekend?!! |

This company took a fraudulent phone order for a video recorder from my debit card and were very rude when I called and told them about this unauthorized purchase. The crook used it as a credit card on a phone order and this company didn't get the 3 security #'s on the back of the card for fraud protection (even though they lied and said they did) and are trying to say it was a valid transaction even though the video recorder was shipped to another state 2nd day air and my email address and my phone # were wrong. The crooks name was even suspicious- it was like Qmann*xhrohs or something like that with an asterisk in between the first and last name. I wouldn't trust any order from a company that condones and participates in illegal activities.

on the billing info wouldnt let me fix my mistake and then put a hold on almost $200 on my bank account and told me it was gonna take 3-5 days to release the money back to me so building my machine is going to take a aditional 3-5 days what if i make the mistake more than 1 time are they gonna keep putting holds on my money and i cant even purchase the product i want if i was you i wouldnt purchse from new egg unless you have a account already or you hae plenty of extra money to spare |

I absolutely love buying from newegg.com. This is always one of the first places that I look to for electronics. In the past year I have purchased many items from them including a DVD drive, a RAIDMAX power supply, a video card, a printer, and more. I have been so pleased with the quality of these products I haven't had the opportunity to deal with their customer service yet.My products all came on time and I absolutely love their 3 day shipping. That is so quick! I have recommended this company to friends and will continue to do so.One of the best things about this site is the product reviews. I wouldn't buy half the stuff I do from them if they didn't have the product reviews.

Newegg is usually quick in shipping. I really used to like using them, but recently (well since about a year ago) I started having problems.
They seem to have started the practice of advertising deals to get you into the site. You go through and order the item, then after a couple days they cancel the order. This has happened 6 of the last 8 items I have ordered from them. When pressed for an answer, I have been told (on most occasions) that demand for the product exceeded their ability to fufill the orders. Yet the website never says it is out of stock and I (one time) bought the same item at a higher price immedately after my order had been canceled. There was NO problem with the order at the higher price, I received the item in only 4 days after the second time I ordered it (at regular price). I am done with Newegg. I really do not like their deceitful practices. |

Good prices on computer parts. I built an AMD Quadcore with 8GB RAM for around $600 (after rebates). The only problem was the case came with a broken latch on the front door covering the drives that would have costed more to RMA than it was worth. The parts came in seperate shipments all within a few days.

Be very very careful if the item you are ordering is from a "marketplace" vendor. It is as bad as going in blind. Newegg does not help. Newegg
does not support claims. Newegg will not help solve problems. I order a product for the holidays on 12/15/2010 with 5-7 day shipping. I got the order on 12/28/2010. I never got an update it was late. I checked the newegg.com site and was never told it was not shipping. The only time I finally got a date was once I started sending emails asking to return it. All of this after the Christmas deadline. You think you are dealing with them and get the old "bait and switch". As much as I have liked them for the past dozen or so orders, this past experience was so so bad that I cannot ever imagine giving them a penny, even if they try to entice me with "free shipping". |

A 42 inch flatscreen TV arrived with NO exterior packaging in its own flimsy box that was open at one end and visibly damaged other places. When my husband called Newegg, he was told that another company had sent the TV and that Newegg had no control over the shipping. We refused delivery, cancelled our order, and can't believe the poor handling of this situation by both Newegg and the unknowncompany that sent the TV.

Called newegg & asked why, and they said its because my phone number was INACCURATE.What? That is TOTALLY INCONSISTENT & MAKES NO SENSE! I ordered Windows 7 Home Premium from Newegg for $99, and I received a 64 bit only copy.
Their CSR says they are not responsible for info on their web site because it is guaranteed by the manufacturer. They will not refund or exchange it because "it is opened". I had to open it to determine it was 64-bit ONLY. At $99 that turns out to be a ripoff too because I got a 3 license upgrade directly from Microsoft for $149. Regardless, I will not be ordering any more software from Newegg. Jim |

I have made a number of purchases from newegg.com over the past two years and have found them fast, price competitive and the Customer Service Rep's friendly and attentive.
I found one problem/concern and strongly advise anyone who returns an item to check the figures carefully. If you place an order for several items and mix price "specials" with regular priced pieces you may be shorted when a credit appears on your credit card statement. On the two occasions I returned an item I was given too little money. If after your purchase an item goes on sale or is offered as a special, which happens quite often, your return credit is based on the new lower price-Not what you actually paid for it! For whatever reason, if a portion of your purchase included some item(s) on special, Newegg assumes that All items were that way. When I contacted Customer Service they acknowledged the "error" and did credit the correct amount, but when it happened the second time I got the same story and I feel that it is a revenue enhancement tool that is quite effective. Other than that policy, I still recommend them for Internet shopping-on the condition buyers are attentive to the return receipt and prepared to challenge the amount credited. |
