Purchased a brand new 23" Acer from Newegg and it came with dead pixel and a cracked case and they said it was non-refundable. They took $200.00 from me and gave me a broken piece of equipment and told me there was nothing they could do about it besides file a claim with UPS which won't be investigated for 2-3 weeks. So here I sit using an old broken monitor for my company work and Newegg has my money.
*UPDATE* One day later reps from Newegg contacted me and are working to fix the problem. They already have a new monitor in the mail with express shipping, pre-paid my UPS fees for sending the broken one back, and are giving me one-on-one service to make sure I'm satisified. Definitely more than I expected... |

i have been ordering from newegg for about 5 years now. everytime i order they ship within 24 hours, sometimes even the same day!, i receive the package in great shape and within 2-3 days. The shipping prices are great and a lot of products have free shipping. Prices cannot be beat! almost ever...its amazing. only 1 time a package was lost but this was due to UPS not newegg but newegg shipped a replacement with overnight shipping through a differant shipping carrier without any haslte it was a huge relief.

Recently I purchased a Samsung LiteScribe DVD burner from Newegg. When I received it, it had trouble reading many discs and was spinning up and down very noisily. I contacted newegg for an RMA, and they told me that to save me money and time, they'd just ship another burner out to me for FREE!
When the burner arrived it worked perfectly. Never has any retailer gone out of their way to facilitate my needs (without even having to return a product). What an amazing company. They have a loyal customer for life in me. |

I just ordered from NewEgg for the first time and will DEFINITELY come back to them again! I received my as-advertised, brand-new bluetooth headset in 3 days from start to finish. I pressed "enter" on the order on Tuesday afternoon and had the headset IN MY HANDS on Friday afternoon! It came double-packed--first in the original box and then inside an additional outer box filled with foam "peanuts" by NewEgg themselves (which you can tell because the outer box says "NewEgg" on it). This ensured there was absolutely no chance of damage. Best of all, the price was one of the lowest offered on-line plus NO TAX and NO SHIPPING COST. (The item isn't even available in a store.) You won't be sorry using NewEgg!

There are just some companies who outshine their competition, Newegg is one of those companies. I have been a loyal customer for years now and have never been let down. They may not be the cheapest; but their prices are always competitive. If they say it's in stock, you can rest assured it will be on its way in a day or so. Whenever I have contacted customer service, either before or after a sale, they have always been courteous and responsive.
I purchase quite a bit of computer and electronic equipment, and even though I shop around, I usually end up choosing Newegg because I know there will be no surpises. |

I am appalled at the level of the service this company provides. I placed an order and requested rush service and overnight delivery. After 24 hours, nothing had been done with my order yet - even though the website says that if you place an order by 12:00 you can usually get same day shipping. I sent an email and got no response. I phoned and was told that the delay was caused by a credit verficiation, but that it had been taken care of and my package would definitely be shipped that day ---- only to receive a phone call later in the day stating that Newegg needed confirmation by phone AND that my product would not ship until the following Monday. I was also informed that my credit card had already been charged and that they would not refund my $2.99 rush processing fee even though their disclaimer clearly states that the fee will be refunded if the item is not shipped the same day. Instead, they have offered me a free rush processing on my next purchase. They're crazy if they think there is going to be a next purchase!

This is a crticism of the company, not the product. I ordered a 1GB RAM chip for my laptop - the chip works fine.
BUT - You better not need your item anytime this century or live outside of the state shipped. I live in central NJ and item was shipped from central NJ to northern NJ only to be transferred to another postal carrier. Took 6 days in ONE STATE! Newegg better do something about their distribution channels. I am thoroughly disgusted in paying shipping AND NJ sales tax, then having to wait 6 days to receive an item which should have been given to the proper carrier in Central NJ. I am never buying from NEWEGG again! |

i bought an HP p2015 printer which would not work since it came out of the box. had my computer guy come out and look at it and he still could not get it to work - when it came time to returning it, newegg would not take it back because i did not have the orignal box and HP would not take it back. when i called HP they said that was not the case. someone has their facts wrong. i would never consider buying anything from this company again.., ever.

This was an absolute nightmare! Initially I used paypal to place the order, newegg claimed the order was rejected due to paypal. Paypal indicated that the order was pending, waiting for newegg to complete the withdrawal. I asked newegg to re-route the order from paypal and use my credit card number. After wasting more time, they claimed the credit card had problems. I called my credit card company. My card was fine, but same newegg problem. Newegg had placed the request for funds, the cc company had ok'ed the funds and the transaction was still pending. I called back newegg and they checked my address, name spelling, everything checked out, so they asked me to resubmit. At this point I just wanted out (ie after 3 hours back and forth between them and paypal and them and my cc card company). I requested they void my order, went over to Amazon, placed my order and bam it was done. I wish you better luck. No more newegg on my face ever again!

Newegg's return policy is flawed. I ordered a wireless range expander. The first one arrived super fast, in three days, but proved to be defective. The order was placed on December 10th and the 30 day count down on returns began. I obtained an RMA and returned the item for replacement. I did not receive the replacement item until the FIFTH OF JANUARY!!! TWENTY FIVE DAYS after I submit the order, I finally get a (maybe) working expander. This means that out of the 30 day return/refund period I had a non-defective product for just 5 days!!!! Range expanders are not plug and play. They take quite a bit of tinkering to make work- if they work at all. Newegg has not been cooperative in extending my trial period. This company might be OK to order some non-defectable product from, such as a CD jewel case, but not a potentially defective item. Their customer service people are rude and inconsiderate, and enforce company policy as though they put the money in their own pockets. I will never do business with them again regardless of their price. I cannot recommend this very poor company to anyone.

Wow! The greatest customer service I have ever had in my entire online shopping experience. I had a problem with a past order, and they resolved the issue even though it was the manufacturers fault! Furthermore, my e-mails were answered quickly, less than a day each time, which really helped get the problem taken care of! I find that the website is very orginized and easy to use. I also find that they almost always have the best prices and when they do not its mabey one out of 20 items.
