First time shopper at Newegg.com and was amazed at the speed that my order was processed and shipped. I ordered on a Saturday and my order was out their doors Sunday night and on its way to me. Ultra fast shipping and excellent prices along with excellent deals on shipping. Customer service such as this is a rarity today. They have earned a permanent and loyal customer.

When shopping for this item on Epinions, CNet, etc., all of the sites gave a price with shipping included.

However, when I clicked on their web page and placed the order, shipping was charged, and there was no way to get rid of it.

A deceptive practice at best!

People at Newegg bend over backwards and will do absolutely anything humanly possible to resolve your problems or help with your order or account. I was very impressed that one representative personally spent the time to speed up my request and then followed up with emails and phone calls. I am just very impressed.

The only thing I do not like is that they have a difficult ship to policy. I like my purchases shipped to my work address (because no one is home during the day) and they insist that this address needs to be registered at the credit card company. This is a pain. I do not have this problem with other online merchants. That's why I would not shop with this company again. Otherwise everything is great.

Newegg is the greatest thing to happen to those of us with great expectations but small wallets. You can get the newest, greatest technology for half of what the big box stores charge. They are quick to deliver, and even quicker to provide great customer service, no matter what the issue. I ordered 5 different items in a week, and all items showed up on, and in good cond. The items reqested were the correct ones, and their ability to give me all the info. I asked for was excellent. I did ttrack all shipments, and they were where they were supposed to be. I would shop @ shopping.com, and newegg.com again.

I have made multiple orders (at least 4) from their website. They have always delivered on time and with the right items. I have never once had to call in and dispute a purchase or wonder where the product is. I get emails with tracking numbers, order confirmation and invoices. Every item I have purchased, the items are securely packaged. They accept paypal, which is a big bonus! I have bought an ASUS motherboard, ASUS DVD-Rom, NEC DVD burner, Chaintech 7.1 sound card, zonet bluetooth doogle, and IO gear bluetooth mouse. (Just off the top of my head) I have recommended my sister to buy from them and they did just as good of a job for her.

Newegg.com shipped me an External Hard Drive that wouldn't even power up when it arrived. I paid to have it shipped back. I called to ask about the shipping costs, and they said just fax us the receipts and we will credit you the amount. Then they suggested since it would take 2 weeks to replace the defective drive, they would just credit me the price and I could buy a new one, which would arrive in 2 days. They were extremely helpful and took care of everything. A very nice experience, even though the drive they sent was DOA

What can I say. I have ordered 6 or 7 items from Newegg and they always get my stuff out to me a day ahead of schedule. they never overcharge for shipping (contrary) and they almost always have everything in stock. The couple of RMA's I have had to do were my fault, and they were completely painless. Newegg even credited me for the shipping back to them!

Quick response on shipping. Worrysome return policy on dead pixel conditions, but fortunately mine had none. Oddly, the price of the item went up $10 as I was trying to make my order (the instant rebate went from $30 off to $20 off). Still a good deal, but kind of odd. It's the second time that has happened to me on internet orders. So far I have not had any need to contact customer service and I have not yet turned in my rebate form, so I can't comment on either of those aspects.
