I stumbled on newegg.com accidently as I was trying to purchase a Rock band bundle from Walmart.com, (they actually took the product out of my cart before checkout) and I was looking over the page and saw newegg.com at the bottom of the page. I clicked on it and found the bundle I had been searching for, for awhile. I was pleasently surprised not only did they have it in stock, but would ship it to me for FREE !!! Also not sure why but there was NO sales tax charged. I could NOT have been happier purchasing the product anywhere else. Saved me ALOT of money and it came right to my door !! From now on I will ONLY buy video games and electronics from NEWEGG.com. My only wish (with six children) is that they would start selling clothes too !!! LOL .......Hope you have a very Merry Christmas !!!

I recevied the lowest price available anywhere on this unit from Newegg, plus free shipping. I'm also supposed to be getting an additional 20.00 off my bill because I paid with a new Newegg credit card. All in all, a great deal! The unit arrived on time, in excellent condition. The Sony 9 inch DVD player is a beautiful piece of gear, with an awesome screen! As of right now, I'm happy as a clam! Thanks!

Newegg does offer good pricing, but has horrible customer service and returns.  If you are buying something like a computer (like me), I would suggest brick and mortar first.  It will be worth a few extra dollars to hop in your car and be able to return your item for replacement or credit.  I returned my laptop and not only have I gotten a refund or replacement (as they advertise), but they still have my broken laptop.  I'm being forced to dispute the charges with my credit card company.  Not worth it.

Newegg allows buyers to order items they do not have in stock and do not back order. Later they send an email claiming the order was voided because the buyer had exceeded a quantity limit. While waiting for Newegg I missed a chance to purchase the item from a seller who had it in stock. Very unprofessional to say the least.

NewEgg.com performed pretty good. One minor flaw in the process involved my purchasing a 2-year extended warranty & paying for it with my other purchases. However, the 2-year extended warranty DID NOT COME with my order. I had to call to see exactly when I would receive it. There was no mention on the invoice as to WHEN Iwould get it - nor on their ordering site. After phoning, I was told that it would arrive approx within one month. This bit of information SHOULD HAVE been on the ordering site and also on the invoice that I received with the other products I received. It is irritating that I had to spend my time to find out about this little clitch! The only other thing that waas negative was that I paid $2.99 for EXPEDIENT shipping which I thought meant that I would receive it within one business day. Turned out that it arrived six days later.

This November 2009 I bought an ASUS P5N-D mb for $90 that came WITHOUT hardware, drivers or manual, in a UPS box, with a case screw still on the board.  It was sold as an 'open box'.  It was obviously used and should have been sold as "USED".  Don't trust NEWEGG anymore.  I won't.

Bought a new laptop from Newegg. It was defective. Sent it back for inspection and repair. Spent frustrating hours talking on the phone to multiple service agents. No one seems to know what's going on. Doesn't follow through -- agents and supervisors don't call back when they say they would. Took several weeks for me to get the same laptop back -- with no explanation of what was wrong and what was done to repair it. I swore I'd never buy from Newegg ever again.

I have purchased many electronic items from Newegg.com  for about 3 years. I have never had any problem so far. However, this time I bought a cheap audio cable from newegg, and I kept hearing some bad low sound from my speaker after I plugged it. I contacted Newegg and told about my situation. Amazingly Newegg just gave me a refund without any problema and said to keep the cable. So I did not need to return the bad cable either. This was my first time to try to return item at Newegg, and the customer service was just as amazing as I have heard. They might lose some money because of their incredible customer service, but they know the customer is more important than anything because they will come back to shop at Newegg again!!Newegg Rocks!! Even if some items are a bit more expensive than other sites, you have to buy from Newegg due to amazing customer service!

Finding the item on the internet was easy. The forms were simple to follow and complete. Once the order was submitted I began to recieve notices of the transaction process, including a tracking number and the steps of the process. The tracking notice gave the date the package would arrive, but it actually arrived a day ahead of schedule, in good condition. I am very satisfied.

I purchased an ac/heater last summer. Cost over $500 and when I received it I emailed them to tell them this had to be a returned item as it had markings of wear and tear ( banged up and scratched) and it wasn't working properly . I never got a reply from them. Never even received a how to return !

I was totally ignored. Well first summer it worked ok -that was it one summers use. Can you imagine paying over $500.00 for 2 months of poor air conditioning?

Heater? Doesn't work at all.  Is anyone aware that when you go into the newegg site to write a review it automatically comes up "excellent"? Shows you they know they are not reputable at all !
So don't go by the ratings you see-that was my biggest mistake.

Customer Service? There isn't any-plain english.
