Cons:  NONE!!

The Bottom Line:  I have shopped Neiman Marcus for years - especially at Christmas. The On-Line store is a great convenience when one doesn't want to go through the snow for quality gifts!

I have shopped at Neiman Marcus for years and I have been shopping Neiman Marcus on-line since its' beginning! I especially use the On-Line store to send special gifts from weddings to birthdays. Plus the store's founder said he would provide quality products at reasonable prices and that is so true!

The gifts are delivered - beautifully gift wrapped and within the shipping options available! And the store goes the extra mile to make sure breakables are handled well or they are replaced!

In terms of navigation, this site is divided into a her, him, wedding, apparel, home stuff, cuisine, kids type sections. Also, if one uses the Neiman Marcus catalog code number, catalog orders will also be taken. But, the 1-800 Neiman Marcus is nice as well. All sales consultants are wonderful. I have never run into a bad one!

Graphics are accurate and can be enlarged for closer viewing. This is a plus because I am usually ordering a piece of crystal I wouldn't pick up in the store for a closer look because I would probably drop it!

Price wise, you're the consumer, fit the item selected to your budget. Of course there is a piece of Lalique crystal for several hundred to a thousand dollars. I am a teacher, I don't go to those pieces! But they do have selected items that are reasonably priced and affordable and most important, when I am selecting a wedding gift, if the marriage lasts, I want the couple to still have the gift and use it for fifty or so years. One of the best buys are sets of towels. These towels live forever! I have a set that is twenty years old!

In terms of the fragrances for her section- for example, one can find cosmetics, etc. for less than at a department store. All major cosmetics companies from Estee Lauder, Lancome, Guerlain, etc. are represented.

There are however, no sales or specials offered on this site. But, for the consumer who wants to provide a quality gift like I do, I hope I am passing on things that will be heirlooms - appreciated, used, and enjoyed for years!
