Wonderful experience with a warranty issue and with Richard D

I have had one of their air beds for about 2 years now. Both my wife and I love the bed. I never really thought to write anything about it in general and Nationwide Mattress in particular...until now

About a week and a half ago, my wife and I were getting ready for bed. She went to fill up her side and nothing happened except that all the air came out of the bed. I attempted to jiggle everything, being the handyman that I am. I asked her to test it. Well she tested my said and nothing happened except all the air now came of my side. I wasn't a happy camper. It was going to be a back breaking experience on the sofa bed.

I got on the computer to find some phone numbers to call the next day, because it was already 8:30 P.M. west coast time and I knew I wouldn't be able to talk to anybody. I found my online receipt and decided, since it indicated that ORDERS were available 24 hours, to give it a call.

A lady answered and I asked if there was a tech guy there. THERE WAS. I was then connected with Richard D.

I explained the situation and Richard had me do a couple things. He even told me that he didn't think that they would work, but sometimes it does. He said that, even if it did work, I was going to get a new unit (blower ?). Well, it didn't work. He explained to me what I should do so we could get a decent nights sleep on a bed with air. I did and it worked. He told me that I was going to get a new unit and that he would order it that night. I still couldn't believe that I was talking to somebody at 8:30 at night - and to make it more unbelievable to me, it was 10:30 Richard's time.

Within a half hour of hanging up, I got a copy of the email that Richard had sent to Comfortaire (?) requesting a replacement unit be sent.

The new unit arrived in several days!!! I am very happy

If anybody is still reading, I'll just be a second longer. I love the comfortaire bed. But, the service I received from Nationwide Mattress, and Richard D, is amazing. There is no way that I would ever go to another vendor without giving Nationwide Mattress a call. I would recommend them to anybody.
