When I was a little girl, riding in a car with my mother and we pulled into a gas station, at least two attendants would dash out to check the oil, clean the windows and fill the tank for us. Unfortunately, by the time I was driving, the service had gone out of "Service Stations" (as well as Banks, Grocery Stores, Retail outlets and Restaurants) and I figured I'd never see that level of commitment to customer satisfaction again.
My online purchase at Nationwide Mattress has been like stepping back in time. From the initial purchase 13 months ago, through the resolution of a minor problem recently, the experience has been professional, smooth, friendly, always courteous and highly, highly satisfying.
I was initially apprehensive about ordering something as large as a mattress from an unknown online site, and I thought long and hard before deciding to try it, since I'd had a negative experience or two with other sites.
I really needn't have worried at all - after placing my order, I received immediate communication advising me as to the projected delivery date. The actual delivery came even sooner than the specified date.
The product (Cerulean Queen Mattress) was everything that the website said it was, and the set-up was very simple. I did it myself before my husband even got home that evening. The comfort level of the mattress has been excellent!
Recently the air bladder developed a slow leak (which happens with air mattresses) and here is where the really outstanding actions come into play. You can measure the true value of a retail outlet by how they handle customer problems, and the service department at Nationwide (specifically Richard) handled the replacement with a courtesy that is rarer than hen's teeth these days. I genuinely came away with the feeling that getting my problem resolved was his top priority in life, and I am not an easy person to convince of that fact, being something of a cynic in nature. (Richard, whatever they are paying you - it's not enough...Go ask for a raise!)
Anyway, thanks to Nationwide for the stroll down memory lane....I'll be back!
