The website is very detailed and well laid out.It is an excellent marketing tool because it is easy to get sucked in, browsing the various categories and designing your perfect suit. Measurement tips were easy to follow (you don't need to be a dressmaker) and the ordering system is well designed. The quality of the tailoring is excellent. The suit fit like a glove and took 10 years of my husband. Even our teenage daughter liked it.
Our only quibble is that once you have been flicked to the payment processing window (a separate website) the order is as good as placed, even though no money has been paid at this stage - you think. There is no chance to go back and revise the order and no way of cancelling the order once you have reached this stage. If you try to cancel out of this window, but have already entered your credit card details, you will find yourself back at the Ravis Tailors website, but your credit will have been charged. We found this a bit worrying, especially as it was our first time using this company, so we had no way of knowing if they were even legit. But everything worked out just fine. All the same, it's the thorn in an otherwise very pleasant shopping experience and they should think about improving the payment process. Some warning before you get flicked to the payment section that you will be paying in Thai Baht (even though everything is in $AU up to this point) would also be welcome. It came as a bit of a surprise.
The staff, who will happily talk to you by email, are very polite and anxious to please. Overall, our experience was very good and we would certainly use them again.
