After placing order, was told music box not in stock, so I purchased somewhere else, and then vendor sent item without notifying me. Music Box did not have correct music, labeled incorrectly. Took repeated emails to recieve RA to return. Then took repeated emails to receive credit to my bank account.

Excellent high-quality music boxes -- web site photos fail to do justice to the beautiful hand-crafted boxes. The precision 36-note mechanism provides a rich, melodious sound. The music box arrived carefully-packed inside an elegant drawstring bag and two separate boxes to protect against potential shipping damage/elements. Customer service was courteous and helpful in resolving a problem with the shipping agent (UPS).

I was searching for a special music box (both in design and tune)I found exactly what I was looking for at the Music Attic and was able to order it shipped via UPS Ground on December 8th and recieved my purchase in Pennslyvania on December 20th. The main piece of the order, the piano music box, was in excellent condition and the engraved plaque said just what we wanted it to. The additional piece of the piano bench had a flaw on the top which bothered me, but after E-mailing about the problem, we received a new bench without any problem or delay. Everything was fine, except for one thing. When the Music Box arrived the piano peddles were broken off - the wood split where they had been attached. I glued the pieces together again and they looked fine. I hope they stay glued! The design for attaching the peddles is a very weak one, in my opinion. The reason I didn't send the Music Box back, is because it is a Christmas gift and there was not enough time.

I don't know how the "listening site" on the web site won any kind of award. It is terrible. I realize the primary business is to sell music boxes. Finding an 18 note movement was relatively easy. Finding 36 note movements is impossible.

It was a great shopping experience. The product was what I expected and it was everything they promised it to be. The only downfall was the length of time it took to get. I paid for 3rd day air and it took over a week. This, however, was a problem with UPS and not the merchant

The website confirmation report states that the item I purchased was sent on Nov. 21st. Since as of December 3rd I had not received it, I called the company to follow up. The customer services representative told me that the item was actually sent after the Thanksgiving weekend and that this was the reason for me not having the item.
