Normal online shopping experience on multiple occasions (have not done so by phone yet). Products always arrived in less than one week. I did a lot of reading of customer reviews, the good and the bad, before starting the Murad program. Thus, I knew what to expect ahead of time- the possibility that my acne would get much worse for anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months+, but that I needed to stick with it (as the ones that did so, raved in their reviews after months had passed). I also knew that the products were potentially more expensive than other brands. In my case, I had used ProActiv for years, and it stopped working for me. Then my mother passed away tragically, and my face exploded with the worst acne I have ever had. My father had actually seen the infomercial, which prompted me to look more into Murad.
It has now been exactly 4 months. My acne is pretty much fully gone, as I only have an occasional pimple which is short lived. My skin is smoother to the touch than I can ever remember it feeling-- I love to feel it, because that more than anything lets me know that my skin is much more healthier. Like most other reviews that I had read, my skin did get worse (random flareups over 2 months, including the nasty cystic acne) at first, and there were times that I wondered if it would ever get better, but I kept with it-- I AM SO GLAD I DID. I just wish there was a way that someone could not only see my skin before and present, but to compare how it also felt in the past with the present. I am pleased with how Murad stopped my breakouts, has evened my out skin tone, and has made my skin feel healthy. I would recommend this product, and have done so to friends who have asked me about it. Just know what to expect before you start, stick with it, and never skip a face wash. (On a side note, I found that when I was having a bad breakout in the beginning, I used it 3x/day). The face wash is great (I try to allow a full minute of contact, to kill more bacteria), I then use the toner to minimize my pore size (feels cool, does not burn at all), then the acne treatment gel (I did not think it burnt-- only if I had a pimple that had recently erupted or that I had popped), and finally the lotion (lightweight even for me, and I have never had good luck with lotions).
