I ordered a Yakima Roof Box on their website.
After 1 week nothing happened, the website kept listing it as "new order".
I called and left a message. Then connected through live chat on their website. They said it was out of stock. They should get stock in 4 days, then it would be 3 days to ship.
After 10 days, the website said it shipped, but the tracking number didn't work.
3 days later, again I called and left a message. Then connected through live chat on their website. They said it hadn't shipped yet, and would go out that day. I wanted to make sure I got it for a trip that weekend (in 4 days) or I would need to buy locally. They said they couldn't guarantee it, and if I didn't accept the shipmnet (if I was out of town) they'd charge me for shipping both directions, to the tune of $350!!
I had to go to a meeting, so I left the live chat. And when I came back I had an email saying they canceled my order, without my input.
All communications were initiated by me. The time frames they gave me were not accurate.
They need to contact their client when they have delays. I wasted 3 weeks waiting for them to ship a product.
