I purchased a table and chair set that "ships within 3-4 business days" on May 25th.  It is June 16th (16 business days later) and the item is still at their warehouse.  They say the item has shipped, but that only means it is waiting   Read full review...

Very bad shopping experience. Ordered a items two weeks ago, and after 1 week, got an email saying won't sell with the listed price and want to charge $100 more, now waiting for the credit back.

Best Experience Ever!!
After shopping around at many online retailer locations I found that almost all pricing is pretty much the same. There are fe E-Tailers that provide free shipping, and even less that provide shipping beyond dropping the items off on the curb, More Home is one of these few! After ordering a decently large order (over $1000) It shipped and arrived to me within 3 weeks. However to my despair one of the pieces was damaged. The shipping company was less than supportive in this matter so I called More Home back, with a chip on my shoulder I might add. They not only got me a new piece quickly but I actually got it for less than I paid the first time! I have actually just placed my second order with them and will continue to reccommend them to my friends and family!

Very poor customer service

Very poor shopping experience. Ordered 2 items last year, and was surprised to find that they would ship 2 weeks later. One item was damaged in shipping, as it was poorly packed. After going through the return process where you must request a return number, and returning it as instructed, it still took 2 months after that to get a refund, and only after getting the credit card company involved.

Worst online store experience

Ordered a doorknob and deadbolt from Morehome.com The item arrived in a timely matter however the latch was dented in. Contacted Morehome.com for a return authorization #. They sent a electronic e-mail stating I would receive a return # in 3 -5 days which I thought to be extremely long,anyway never heard from them again until I e-mailed them to let them know I thought their customer service sucked. They told me they were processing my return and would issue credit as soon as the paper work came in from the warehouse. LOL ! What return ? I never got a return # from them to send the bloody thing back. They clearly don't know what they are doing and I feel they were aware they had sent me out defective merchandise, The deadbolt had to be taken out to be keyed alike with the doorknob before shipping to me. HELLO ! you couldn't miss the dented in latch unless you were blind Morehome.com. Be warned !

An Unexpected Good Experience

I ordered a Kichler Inverted Pendent (3278DBK) ceiling fixture through Morehome.com on Saturday, 1/13/07. The $225 price included shipping and was lower than eBay sellers, other online lighting sites, and local stores, which had four-week lead times. The order page said the item was in stock and would ship in two days.

On 1/16/07, after reading the other comments, I was concerned I'd have problems and I spoke to customer support via online chat. Customer service was responsive and checked the order. I was told the warehouse had the order and I'd receive tracking information on 1/17/07. Well, the light arrived a few hours later - on 1/16/07 - in perfect condition and is now installed.

While it would have been nice for the customer service database to reflect to current status of the order, I am *very* impressed that my order, placed on a Saturday, arrived the following Tuesday.

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH AN ONLINE RETAILER

I purchased a $200.00 dual-carafe coffee maker which was DEFECTIVE. It took weeks to get an RGA number from this company.
I then sent this unit back - they received it - and signed for it. However, the returned item is still listed as "awaiting goods from customer..."
They received this item back 3 MONTHS ago and I am still WAITING for a refund.
When they do reply to e-mails it is a standard "we are having problems with the warehouse...blah...blah...blah..."
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the government's department of consumer affairs.
This company is HORRIBLE! As one reviewer said, "RUN...DON'T WALK...AWAY".
I will shout from the roof-tops the blatant ineptness and shady character of this company on EVERY message board I can find to save others the nightmare of dealing with these CROOKS!!!!!!!

Would not use this company again

Item was listed as "in stock:available for shipment". After placing order on line and waiting 10 days, received an automated email informing me that the item was on backorder with an estimated ship date in the next day. Still waiting......
Also, they list "free shipping", but charge $50 when ordering, because it has to be shipped freight.
Ordered Aug 4 - its Aug 17....still waiting.
Now have an estimated delivery of Aug 21. Very Poor!

Poor service, Crooked sales tactics

!! BEWARE OF THIS MERCHANT !!
I ordered an american standard toilet for $267.91 . Their website and my invoice stated free shipping. After a week went by I was curious as to why I did not receive the toilet yet. Then I got an email from them saying that their shipping estimate was not accurate and they needed approval to charge another 75 dollars to cover additional shipping. NOT ACCURATE? ,ITS EITHER FREE OR IT ISN'T !! I certainly would not support a business that practices "bait and switch" tactics like this. They bait you in with "free shipping" posted all over the price comparison sites to make it appear that they have the best deal and once you pay for the item they ask for another 75 dollars to ship it. They admitted it was their mistake but all I was offered was a refund after they wasted a week of my time.
