Monstertoners is an honest company, quality products

Monstertoners.com is the REAL company. They have great service and quality products. They are an honest company. Monstertoner.com is the FAKE ripoff company that is riding off the the legit companies name. I got taken by Monstertoner.com. Took my money and didn't deliver products. They are the ones that have no phone number and do not respond to emails. I believe all these bad reviews on this site for Monstertoners.com is meant for Monstertoner.com.Anyone that wrote a bad review for Monstertoners.com should double check where you ordered from, if it was Monstertoner.com please remove or update your comment. No need to hurt a good company. Monstertoners.com ROCKS!

I bought some genuine Brother toner cartridges from these guys last year and the price was good, service was good, everything was good.  Then last December I decided to try their "compatable" cartridges.  The cartridges arrived right on time, the price was right.  I wasn't ready to put them in the machine, I just like to keep a set of back-ups here.  In February I installed them.  The quality was instantly substandard.  I tinkered with the machine but it was always not up to standard.  I got a message to replace the drum so I bought and replaced the drum hoping that would improve the situation.  The quality was even worse so I called the company to get a RMA number to return the substandard cartridges.  They told me that Monstertoners.com was no longer in business and I was out of luck.  I pressed them because they uh, answered the phone.  The guy said well, we'll do what we can.  It's been a month.  All I hear from them is crickets.  Yet, today, their webpage is still up so they can still steal money more people with their substandard products.  I wouldn't do business with these people ever again.

Do not buy from MonsterToners.  They shipped a defective cartridge, and have not responded to emails or phone messages.  They are a complete ripoff.

I purchased a 4 toner kit last year at a decent price.  I had used 2 of them and needed to change the 3rd.  The machine did not recognize it.  It does recognize the old one still, but empty.  After looking at cartridge-there is damage to reconditioned cartridge.  I knew this was reconditioned, but should have never been recycled after viewing the damage to the roller.  My biggest complaint is that I left a message 6 days ago and no reply.  I then called yesterday and rep verified my name\address\email.  He confirmed sending RMA for return to my email and to check later in evening.  NO EMAIL!!!  I just called back and they have no record of me requesting an RMA and all they can do now is give me a 50% discount on my next order.  I would not recommend taking the bait of saving $10-$20 on a cartridge.  If they would have sent RMA-I was still responsible to pay shipping both ways even though they sent out bad product.  THere may have been a "restocking fee" too.  Not worth risk of being ripped off.

Low Prices, Below Average Shipping, Pig and a Poke Products

I own an HP color LaserJet 2605DN printer.  I ordered the 4 pack replacement set of remanufactured cartridges at the beginning of this year.  The stated page yields for the cartridges were the same as the HP originals (black @ 2500, cyan, magenta, yellow @ 2000).  The black cartridge lasted only half as long as the original HP and produced an annoying clicking and squeaking.  What's worse, the magenta cartridge began to leak toner after approximately 4 months, leaving long magenta smears on the pages and fouling the paper feed with raw toner.  I would clean the printer and cartridge, but as soon as I would print a page, the smearing would return.
The other 2 cartridges, cyan and yellow, are currently working fine, but I don't really trust them.
I have replaced both the black and magenta cartridges with original HP ... no clicking, squeaking or leaking and the rate of depletion is what it should be.
Conclusion: I'm buying HP products from now on.  I'm not buying them from MonsterToners.

Horrible experience.  Bought the first toner for my printer and it didn't even work.  My printer kept flashing red.  Everytime I put back the original toner, it would flash green - so the problem was not my printer, but the defunct toner that they gave me.

I had to pay shipping to send this toner back in exchange for another toner.  Well, toner #2 didn't even fit inside my printer!  I requested a full refund and for them to cover shipping this time out of courtesy.  At first they agreed, but I never received the free shipping label.  When I called back, they vehemently denied agreeing to paying for shipping.  So I had to pay for shipping THREE times for TWO defunct printer toners!

I WILL NEVER SHOP AT MONSTERSTONERS AGAIN.

Horrible products and horrible customer service.  What a SCAM.

Absolutely awful.  This company is an outright thief.  I purchased HP compatible 88 cartridges.  One did not print at all and the yellow is now on the front of my printer and a few spots on my carpet.  Now I must make the decision to buy a new printer or repair mine.  Oh, and the company won't even answer the phone.

Inferior replacement cartridges leak toner all over printer!

I ordered a 4-pack of toner for my laser printer. The initial black cartridge was fine. I later installed the magenta and yellow cartridges. When I went to install the cyan cartridge I noticed the magenta and yellow cartridges leaking all over the inside of the printer, creating a total mess. Of course by now my six month return limit has passed. I won't even try installing the cyan cartridge. I have reordered new cartridges from HP. Yes, I did review and follow the proper installation instructions. I have had no previous problems with HP toner cartrige replacements. Monster Toners was an expensive lesson in why to stay with factory replacement cartriges.

Late shipping, broken products, bad customer support.

I placed an order for a 4 pack of toner on Dec 7th, after a week and nothing I called them up. I was actually able to get someone on the phone then. I was told my order was delayed due to one of the toners on backstock (odd considering everything is 'in stock' when on the store when I made the purchase), and I needed to wait a few days for it to become in stock then they'd ship it. A week later (now 2 weeks past the order) it ships. I get it and the 'out of stock' toner has a broken fuser on it.. You can physically see deep lines going accross it. I've since made countless phone calls to them to get it replaced and all I've gottan was 'you have reached the general mailbox'. I've left messages with every call clearly explaining things and my contact info. No returned calls. It's now almost a month since I've placed my order and I think I'm going to have to charge back the amount and order somewhere else. What a waste of time.

BAD, BAD, company - do not use

Do not use this company. As of June 23, 2009, they are no longer answering their phones, you have to do everything via their website.

They kept promising me my shipment would go out the next day (I placed the order on June 14th). In the meantime, they have $150.00 of my money for toner cartridges that were never shipped. IF they do reimburse my money, I will update this.

I would not order from Monster Toners ever again!  I ordered 2 toner cartridges that were bad. I called customer service and they told me to send one back for replacement and use the other until I received the replacement.  Three weeks later and no response! 

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND SOMETIMES NOTHING AT ALL!!!

Ordered a 4 toner pack for the Lexmark X502N Multi-function color laser printer. Every single one of them was defective, and everyone was at least replaced once (Which we had to pay the return postage for) - Have learned my lesson and will never again deal with this company, or "off-brand" remanufacturered toner.

After going throuigh 6 faulty toners (Some of which leaked everywhere inside the printer) - I've had about enough. Stay away from this company, and remanufacturered toner cartridges.

HORRIBLE product and service.  Printer cartridge was faulty and they will not return e-mails (no phone number listed on invoice) to issue a call tag for the bad cartridge and to ship a new one.  Cartridge looks recycled.  They seem like a scam.

Horrible waste of money

My original cartridges recently ran out of toner and I just attempted to install the MonsterToner color cartridge into my HP Color Laserjet 2550L printer. The MonsterToner cartridge jams in the machine and will not work. The original and MonsterToner cartridges appear identical except that the MonsterToner cartridge is missing a plastic tab looking on the left side of the cartridge once installed in the printer. As the printer carousel rotates, the MonsterToner cartridge appears to slip out of position and jams the printer.


MonsterToners never responded to my request for help.

I would not order again from this company. I received the wrong toner, had to pay postage to return the toner and have to pay postage for the correct toner to be shipped to me. Postage amount was $26.90, canceling out any savings I might have earned by purchasing from monster toners. I will not accept this toner but will return it unopened to monster toners. It will cost me an unrecoverable $26.90 and I still will need to purchase a toner locally. Rita

I ordered two cartridges for my HP color laser printer - they were defective (had major streaks in them). I enclosed samples of the printing with their toners and those from HP - a major difference in quality. My original cost was $140.93. When they credited my account, I had to pay for THEIR original postage ($11.95) and a 25% restocking fee of $32.25 for the DEFECTIVE toners, and MY SHIPPING back to them!! So the grand total of the refund was $96.74 or about 60% of what I paid with shipping back to them - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY as their product is inferior - I would recommend staying with the manufacturer of your printer and at least getting a good product for just a little bit more money.

I would shop at this place one more time. If I experience the same slow service and lack of communication, I will not. It took almost two weeks to get my toner. I ordered them on November 17 and I received them on November 29. When I called to inquire, I was told that the toners were on back-order. I did not receive an e-mail from MonsterToners alerting me to this fact. Also, when I checked the status of my order on the internet - it just said "Pending" (nothing about back-orders). Luckily, the toners were not urgently needed. However, I do believe that a customer should be told when something is on back-order to allow them to consider other options.
