Beautiful rings, but don't expect them to last and don't expect Mondera to care. Within months of purchase of a diamond ring for a special anniversary, my wife discovered one of the diamonds missing. A follow-up check by a local jeweler revealed that nearly all the diamonds in this piece were precariously set==NO quality control at Mondera, and customer service is equivalent to "Customer NO Care." Quality jewelry should last decades, not months! You'd think the company would be willing to at least give a deal on a replacement diamond for their own ring (which they still sell), but instead, wanted to charge over 1/3 the cost of the entire ring PLUS shipping, and just getting them to respond is tough. Finally, they’ll outright lie to get you to go away. SAD!

It's lovely website. I initially shopped with them for an engagement ring & diamond. I was pretty impressed with their service & also got free shipping. Then i bought a wedding band from them, anniversary band, birthstone jewelry for my wife. I intend next to buy matching diamond stud earrings & pendants for her. Hope they continue to serve me well as they did in the past.

EXCELLENT! Everything.

I recently picked out a diamond solitaire engagement ring. I loved the ease of choosing it on line without pressure from a sales person.

I had researched what to look for when buying a diamond prior to going on their web site, but they also had info on what to look for and it was very helpful.

I also checked Epinions as well as the Better Business Bureau. Any issue regarding Mondera were minor Customer Service issues that were eventually resolved.

Once the order was placed they called me to confirm that all the info was correct...esp the different shipping address.

Then, the order was shipped a week SOONER than they had told me. It just arrived in time for Valentine's Day!

Everything was EXACTLY the way I had ordered it and as it was presented on the web site.

I couldn't be happier. The bands are next...and I've started to add to my Mondera Wish List!

I have to say that I am VERY impressed. I ordered an engagement ring (solitaire diamond on a platinum setting) about 2 weeks back and am due to travel tonight. As soon as I had placed the order, I realized that the shipping date would be after my date of travel! (Mainly because of time required to put the ring together). I then called them up and explained my predicament. They said they would put in a rush order for me and that I would definitely have it in 8-9 days max. I had also called once in between because I was nervous and they reassured me. Lo and behold, the package arrived EXACTLY on schedule! I am very impressed and happy with both the workmanship and the customer service. Thanks!

Highly recommended. One work of caution to prospective shoppers, please have a least 30 days in hand, mainly for peace of mind, rather than anything else!

Mondera has the worst customer service of any online jeweler. I had to make 5 phone calls to unprofessional staff and they were not capable of confirming my order. In the end Mondera never asked for my credit card information until I called questioning my order status. Then I found out that they were not able to meet the timetable THEY agreed to. Wow!

I would not trust them with my Christmas shopping money.

The only challenge presented was that it required my signature for delivery and I wasn't aware of that when I ordered or I would have had it shipped to my office. Otherwise it was exactly what I was looking for and had a difficult time finding.

I had to purchase a second screwback for my earing only a week after receiving them. When I did receive the screwback and went to put it on it did not fit right and it broke the diamond setting off of the post.

The people at Mondera have always been very helpful. I sent an email regarding my order and they called me the next day to resolve my issue and reassure me that things were going well. The prices are wonderful and they have excellent coupons if you sign up for their newsletter. The processing time between ordering and shipment is short and generally easy. They do call to confirmt the shipping address if it is different from the billing, which makes me feel more secure. In general, I am very happy. The jewelery is very good quality, returns are accepted for any reason. Overall, wonderful.

I ordered my fiancee's engagment setting on the website. I found the product without any difficulty. I would have liked it if I could have seen more than one picture of the item and pictures from different angles. The website askedd me to enter the dimensions of the stone that I had for the ring. I did this, but after the order was processed Mondera called me and requested the same information again. Someone on there side must have dropped the ball or the weebsite must not have recorded the information correcctly. Once the order had been placed I was told that it would take one month to ship. This was way too long and I had no warning of the extended shipping datte until I had placed the order. The next day I found a settling in my home town that worked just as well. So I cancelled my order with Mondera and went with the local setting. I would have liked it if I knew of the extended ship date before I made the order. I would have liked it if the website had recorded my diamond's dimensions correctly the first time.

I purchased 3 gold lockets. One of them arrived badly scratched. I had to pay to have them returned to the company $15. Most companies that I have worked with in the past have UPS come and pick up the package from your home and you don't have to pay return shipping.

Beware of this store!! I would not buy from them again as their deception on the web site must only be an indication of deceptions in other areas. I printed out the page listing a pair of diamond stud earrings for sale. On this page it lists "complementary with every purchase" "-gift box, shipping, 30 day returns, laboratory diamond certificate". One has to click on these items to find that lab certs are only provided with loose diamonds. This is a very slimy way of doing business. If lab certs are not provided with any jewelry, they why list it? Only to deceive the potential buyer. BUYER BEWARE!!

I found the diamond on their website, placed an order totalled more than $7,000, they got approval from my credit card, then my order was cancelled for an unknown reason.

Their customer service was very polite, but did not call me back as they promised. By the time I got a confirmation that the order was cancelled without any specific reason, they diamond I wanted was sold to someone else.

Wasted my time.

I talked to my friends who has just bought an engagement ring from a store in San Francisco. He said the price is not much different from what he found on Mondera.com and BlueNile.com. So why bother with these websites, if you can get the same deal and actually see the real diamond before you buy?

Overall my experience with Mondera is very good. There have been problems with my order not being correctly filled, or not being received on time. Mondera tries to correct their mistakes in a timely fashion. The value to price of my purchases has been great. I've enjoyed the jewelry and their nice selection. They need to offer more discounted deals for returning customers, to keep their business.
