We made a custom order in early March 2007, and were told it would take 6-10 weeks to deliver, as it was a farm sink carved from a single piece of stone. That was fine, and we were charged the full amount at the time of order. What has followed since then is a comedy of errors and hideous customer service. We were not notified of delays, we had to call to find out where was our sink. Each time we called, we got the same treatment... "Who are you? We do not have you in our system... Oh, here you are, it's not in yet." In July, after waiting 16 weeks, we were actually called by the company (the only time) and were told that the shipping container with our sink had been held in Customs and would be four more weeks until it arrived. Early August, I called to check, received the same "Who are you? We do not have your order in our system," treatment, and was told the container was still not in, that it would be another week. Meanwhile, our home construction was long completed, and we had no kitchen sink. A week later I tried again, was told the container was in, but that our sink was not on it, that one would be in the following week and MAYBE our sink was in that one! That was it, I asked for a refund, forget the sink, I would find something locally. I was then handed to a supervisor who informed me of the 15% restocking fee and proceeded to berate me for supposedly being rude to her employee! My husband called the next day to talk to the supervisor, who informed him that they had lost all orders in a computer crash and that "you are lucky we have a paper backup of your order." After much discussion about the restocking fee and our experiences with this company, the supervisor promised a refund check within the week. She said they would not process the credit through the same credit card they had charged in March. Three weeks later, we still do not have a refund check. Do not do business with these people, they are a mess as a company.
