This place is a total ripoff. I purchased a few very small items that only weighed a third of a pound - and was charged $17.50 for UPS Ground shipping! Only a dollar less than I paid for all the items! And when they finally arrived, they were cheap and shoddy and not at all as described on the website. And when I tried to return them, I was told that there would be a 20% restocking fee. So now I'm out $17.50 for their exorbitant shipping, $4.50 (the ACTUAL cost to ship the items), and a 20% restocking fee. Nice.

Their sales staff were extremely helpful when I called to get more information about an item before I made my purchase. Mission Restaurant Supply is definitely the place to shop for restaurant equipment and supplies.

One of their salesmen "promised me the mine and gave me the shaft". He agreed that if I bought some equipment from 'em they would do some preliminary design work at no cost.

I plunked down over $3000 for some refrigeration equipment. Got no design work. Would not even return my emails. My take is the guy was just after a quick sale.

I will not spend another dime with 'em.
