Never again! They sent a defective laser toner cartridge and when I returned it they tried to give an in store credit with only a partial refund! They don't even know anything about printers!

Not Truthful.
I ordered HDMI cables at an incredibly good price. Item showed in stock on the website. Invoice showed item would ship within 48 hours. After 2 weeks, the item was still not shipped. Contacted Customer Support and they blamed the problem on the vendor for not delivering. They still show the item as IN STOCK on their website. It should be updated to the true status. They should not include the statement that item would ship within 48 hours. I cancelled my order. Don't expect quick delivery. |

The "21 LED Adjustable headlamp" arrives without instruction, and is not functional at all; Calls to customer/technical support did not get answered, went straight to voice mail; Tried to submit a web form (which is meritline's preferred way of communication) for this issue, get web page error !!! I am serious think they did this on purpose to avoid answering any inqueries.

Meritline has its critics but it has done much to improve itself in the last few months including the brand new redesign of the website which was way overdue! Easier navigation, clear and concise product information, and a confusion-free shopping cart

So initially, I was very excited with meritline because the prices were good, the promos were enticing etc. Then I bought something for my office (non-profit, tax exempt)... In order to get my corporate card reimbursed, I have to make sure I don't get charged sales tax (it was $0.35 only, but I just can't let sales tax on there).
So I send them the institution's tax id, fax them the certificate, and some woman in customer service (who is, for some reason under the impression that I am in California -- tho I am in Massachusetts) tells me that the tax ID I'd given her is not valid! I check the number -- this is not true. I had already faxed her the certificates, but she doesn't bother to check. Last, but not least, I am from MA, so I should not be paying sales tax to someone in CA (unless I am mistaken). However, instead of fixing anything, these people just gave me more headache! Ugh! No matter how good the deal looked online, I will never purchase from them again. It's just not worth the kind of headache they caused me. |

I've bought items from Meritline over a dozen times with any problems but then I only buy their core items like DVD-R media, SD cards, cases, printer ink, etc. and don't shop for cars, vacuums or hard drives or Espresso machines there. There are other better merchants for such items. If you stick to such items you'll do OK.

Be clear when listing items if they are boxed or not. The listing did not clearly indicate that the item was not in the box or other packaging. Item arrived in good condition and works well, just was surprised that it wasn't boxed.

I ordered a small vacuum cleaner to use for cleaning my computer keyboard for less than five dollars, but what I received was a total crap. It doesn't have a suction power at all. I lost my money.

I received all the products I ordered in perfect condition and on time. The products were mostly as advertised (CD wallets were not well described and are a little flimsier than anticipated)but overall met my expectations, especially for the price.

Very disappointing site:
1. I was offered a coupon when I looked at the item that I wanted but then that coupon was not automatically applied to my order. I would have to go back and lose all that was in my cart to get the coupon. I had to open up a whole new page to get the coupons. 2. When I bought the 6 pack color cartridges, I should have been offered (as they do on sites like Amazon and Drugstore.com) other items that are similar (like Black ink sites. Instead, there was no easy way of getting back to the page with the ink cartridges that fit my printer. Instead, I had to retype my printer in the search box again. Good price though. I will see how they work if I am to buy again. But the shopping experience was horrible. |

Bought or rather paid for a microSD card which I never received to this day. Worst customer service to address my issue. Lost my shipment through USPS & are not willing to reship or refund me my item. The worst experience I had for online shopping in years.Shoppers beware !!! Would never recommend meritline to anyone. big time NEGATIVE!!!

They promptly emailed me my order confirmation within seconds of hanging up the phone, processed my special shipping request with no trouble. Later in the afternoon sent my shipping information and notified me with a shipped status email. Items received were correct and satisfactory. No problems at all.

Here's my bad experience, it took nearly two weeks from the time I place my order to when I received a package. But they shipped me somebody else's order! Their item and packaging slip inside, but my address on the outside. I contacted them and they had me print a label to return the wrong item so they could ship me the correct item. I requested a refund because I didn't want to wait two more weeks for my items but they refused saying when they received the package they would ship my item. But, as I expected, they received the other guy's item and fixed that problem, but let my order fall through the crack. Another 2 weeks passed by as I waited for my refund. Nothing. I contacted them again and their response was that they would ship my items. It took 6 weeks from the time I ordered to the time I received my items.

Steer clear of meritline.com, my experience using them was awful. NO customer support, No product support, inaccurate (almost deceptive) product information, sssssslllllooooowwwww delivery, voice mail with no call backs, numerous telephone calls finalize order situation. I made a terrible mistake using meritline.com, but one I will never repeat.

I ordered on 2/11, they charged my credit card on 2/12, and when their dismally inadequate "tracking page" still showed "in process" on 2/16, I became concerned. Emailed FIVE TIMES before finally getting a response: "ONE item in the order was backordered, not sure when it would be in." I insisted that they ship the in-stock merchandise NOW and the BO merchandise when it arrived, as do 99% of other Web merchants. They agreed to do so "ASAP"; it's now 2/20 and the order is still "in process"!
Apparently "ASAP" to these people means "when we're damn well ready to do so," and "damn well ready" means ONLY when we can put everything in a single shipment and avoid having to create a backorder. In short: Prices and advertised product lines, good; shipping policy, POOR; order tracking, laughably inadequate; customer service poor to non-existent. |

I wouldn't recommend this site due to the lack of customer service. My items arrived poorly packed, and therefore were damaged along the way. I can't use a good portion of the items, and although contacting them several times to resolve this issue, they have yet to acknowledge my existence. I am very disappointed in this whole experience and will never shop with them again.

Products arrive damaged. Their packages are not sealed. Many look like they have been returned products. Flashlights, USB fans, remote control wrist watches, all arrived to be broken on separate orders. Other stuff was fine. I stuck with them because they were so cheap, but when a 21 led camping light came to me broken with mud on it, that was the last straw. They just don't care.

Good luck if you have a problem with anything you buy from Meritline. They refuse to pay return shipping for the defective junk they sell. I got 3 sets of bad ink tanks from these jokers and I paid the return shipping for each of the first 2 sets to go back PLUS the original shipping when I placed the order! They insist I pay the freight on the third set which puts shipping charges at more than the actual price of the ink tanks!!!! They have lost my business for good. I will deal with Newegg and Supermedia Store, they pay return freight on defective goods. Meritline cares about profit only, and NOT the customer!!!!! When a customer places an order they expect to get a working item! I didn't call and ask to buy defective items! Meritline sells cheap defective junk - BUYER BEWARE!
Additional info, Johnny at Meritline made good on the cartridges and refunded my money. They also paid the shipping back. Better late than never...... |

Over the past 2 or 3 years I have ordered from meritline about 10 times. They have alot of great deals, often sending emails from clearance items that are very cheap. The majority of my purchases were from verbatim dvdrs. The dvds always came shipped

Price good but tracking is a nightmare. They are unreachable by phone and the tracking info they provided fails to work in FedEx's system. In short...nobody seems to know or care where the order is. It's inexcusable to supply links to tracking that bounce off the shipper's page saying not enough info...or renter the (already faulty) numbers.
Very frustrating. Their unavailability to answer the question "where is it?" and the total uselessness of their follow up service is very disappointing. Next time I'll shop and a more customer service efficient retailer. |

I placed an order for multiple items, never heard from them, no CC charge. Finally searched web site for customer DISservice, was directed to a disconnected phone number, finally found a phone number in order confirmation email. Called and was told that they emailed me twice to say I needed to order miniDVDs in multiples of 100 (which I had done) and since they had not heard back, they cx the order. I NEVER received the emails, not trapped in any Spam filter, I believe they screwed up and will not admit it. After talking to the rude person at Meritline, an email arrived confirming the cancellation (8 days after the order was placed). Why would the confirmation and the delayed cancellation find my mail, but not the two supposed other queries?
I asked why they could not just reinstate the order, they declined to help. Again, I think they just did not want to admit to either being lazy or messing up. Bottom line, if you really don't care or don't need the products, shop meritline, the prices are OK. |

They make false Rebate Claims. I ordered a box of 50 Ridata DVD+R that claimed to have a $10 rebate. The ad claimed the cost of the DVDs was $7.50 after rebate or 32 cents each. The first surprise was the $9.56 shipping charge making the cost per disk 34 cents. After receiving the order I found no rebate form and contacted Meritline. I was told to go the the website to download the form. When I did, I found the rebate was only for the purchase of two boxes of 50pc. There was no rebate at all on the single box I purchased which made the cost per DVD over 54 cents each. Their ad was a lie.
