This was my first time shopping with Mercantila.  The customer service over the phone was fast, informative, and helpful.  I was shocked at how quickly my urban rebounder trampoline arrived ~ less than 48 hours (and it was free shipping)!!  My kids LOVE their new, indoor, energy busting, trampoline.  Mom & Dad can bounce, too, because it's rated up to 300 lbs. Perfect for cold days when we're stuck inside.

Love the Water Rower, but the heart rate monitor receiver I ordered over three weeks ago has crossed the Mississippi now for the 3rd time!  Yet no one has responded to my 4 requests for information or even offered a simple "Sorry, we goofed." You'd think dropping over a K would at least get you that!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM Mercantila.  We ordered a trampoline and was told it would ship in two weeks.  Then an email told us it would be over a month but of course they charged our credit card within minutes.  We cancelled the order but they will not confirm this or give a refund.  My husband has been on the phone numerous times and has been told numerous lies.  This company is a SCAM.  We are letting our credit card company deal with them, you get nowhere trying to talk to them.

Today, Oct 9, 2009, I finally had the chance to try the Tennis Ball Machine. It seems like everything worked. I just have to learn how to control it. Maybe it will take couple testing before I learn all the controls. It's a great machine for me and for my family. I am very satisfied with it.

I have owned  a Weslo and a Proform prior to my purchase of merit 725T. It is the best I have ever had. When I ordered It was backordered. I was unhappy but had to understand. I was kept notified of staus by multiple e-mails. I received word that my treadmill was shipped on 9-17 and that I should recieve in 3-5 days. I recieved it later the same day. Delivery was made inside of my home as promised. Packaging was well made to protect the product. Assembly was straight forward and with the help of my wife took about one hour. I am very pleased with the Unit and with the delivery process too. I would highly recommend Mercantila to you.

Do not purchase anything from this company. Do your homework. These people only care about getting your money, then to hell with any type of customer service. I've been waiting over 45 days for a refund. Buyer beware.

DECEITFUL.  This is how I would describe this company.  After placing my order & being charged for it, I received an e-mail 3 days later stating the product had been discontinued & was no longer available & that they had cancelled my order & were refunding my money.  They were very apologetic & offered me a 10% discount on something else.  I still show no credit to my debit acct & have received no response to an e-mail I sent them.  Also the product has not been discontinued on their website,  but the price has increased by more than $400. 
I guess their original pricing was wrong...the funny part is I even questioned the price when I placed the order because it was much less than I found on other sites. I was told by the customer service rep that it was the correct price.  So I will order this product from another company & now have to worry about getting my money back from Mercantila.  I should have paid more attention to the other reviews.

The product was delivered damaged, and the manufacturer is having me attempt to repair the product on my own.  However, I have to call them frequently to request assistance so that I do not damage the product further, and I am about to give up since they should be repairing or replacing the product.  Mercantila also charged me shipping when it was supposed to be free.

Mercantila's "help center" webpage does not work since you cannot enter any information regarding these aforementioned problems into the window that loads with errors.  So, Mercantila's help center also does not work properly via the internet. 

All of the above leave me very disappointed with Mercantila and the products that they sell.  This was a gift for my wife that is turning into a big headache.

Confusing: Received an email stating item was shipped then the next day received another email stating item was backordered for more than one month.

Frustrating. Unable to contact or receive a response for more than 48 hours from the initial attempt to contact this company-after they had received payment (over $250.00) then backordered item.

Company has a policy of not taking phone calls, but rather during off times keep customers on hold longer than 30 minutes only to be told that telephone personnel won't have any information but rather will have to get back to you within 24 hours which they did not do.

Will never use this company or any subsidiaries again.

They said my rowing machine would ship within a couple of days. I got charged for the product, then they say it will be Oct. 1 (30 days later), now they say that it will ship on the 9th. Nice to know that they got their money a month ago and I still haven't seen my merchandise.They offer me a $1500 discount on a large future order. That is not going to happen though as that is probably a scam also. I'll update more later. Also checked with the Better Business Bureau, same thing there. Stay away from Mercantila, and all of it's site and stores. You will very happy you did. Amazon carries the same product and I'll order from them if this does not get resolved.

I purchased this on line on a Sunday evening. Friday morning Fed Ex rang the doorbell and our Danby Icemaker arrived in perfect condition. Mercantila's website was easy to navigate. Their prices were the lowest of any e retailer. We had purchased the same ice maker at a walk in appliance store for another home. We paid more for it than this one by almost $50.
I reccommended Mercantila to a friend that also purchased the icemaker. She was impressed with the prompt delivery. I would definitely do business with this company again.

My order was prompt and I was kept up to date where my item was at any given time during the delivery. I recieved it when they said it would be here, and made sure I knew how and who to contact if there should be a problem. ( which there wasn't ) very professional.

Styling and finish of the headboard was as expected.  Lower corner of headboard sustained minor crushing damage.  This is a somewhat inconspicuous location, so I decided not to return it.  Damage resulted from package being dropped/rough handling somewhere between manufacturer in China and my home.  The rather flimsy styrofoam and cardboard packing surrounding the headboard were inadequate to protect the 90+ lb. piece.

Sixteen bolts used to fasten the two legs to the back of headboard were not included in the package.  Neither was any sort of assembly instructions sheet, although it's not rocket science to assemble.  Trial and error with some of my own bolts at home enabled me to determine the right size/length (metric).  After a trip to Lowe's to purchase the missing bolts I was able to attach the legs to the headboard and the bed frame in no time.

While I do like the headboard, the overall experience was a major disappointment.

I placed an order on Sept. 4th 2009, at which time my credit card was promptly charged.  The original shipment date was Sept. 11th 2009, then 16, 17, 18.  I followed up daily and was not given any updates other than they would have to check with the warehouse and would get back to me in 24-48 hours each time.  The call center was extremely unhelpful and unacommodating to any of my requests.  On Sept. 21st, 2009 I cancelled my order and have yet to receive the promise cancellation confirmation via email that should have arrived within 24-48 hours.  I have also not received the refund on my monies to date.  I would absolutely not recommend this site to anyone.  The service is terrible, they are unlawful in charging customers for orders that have not even been placed and claim to have speedy delivery time when my order was delayed a month with no updates whatsoever.  Please do not use this website.

Delivery was prompt, and all the usual metrics were just fine. One item that would have helped would have been: "Mounting hardware for 1/2 inch counter included." That would have warned me that I needed to take special precautions for the 3/8 inch counter that I was working with.

1.  Mercantila refused to honor a $10 promised discount.  The merchant's entry at FlamingoWorld at the time I placed my order indicated I would receive a $10 discount on any purchase over $150, no coupon needed.  I clicked directly through from FlamingoWorld to Mercantila.  I never got the discount.
2.  The unassembled product arrived with a part missing.  When I was unable to reach Mercantila's customer service, the manufacturer's factory said it would send the missing part.
3.  I was unable to reach Mercantila's customer service.  When I attempted to submit my problems on their problem-reporting page, their site ignored repeated submission attempts, telling me to "Please check the return policy agreement."

No customer service. I can't get ahold of anyone. Product hasn't shipped on the date they specified. Two emails sent have gone unanswered. They were more than happy to call me to sell me an extended warranty but can't get ahold of them when I need help.
