When it came time to upgrade the RAM memory for my laptop, I did quite a bit of searching online. Those chips all look the same to me, and it was very confusing trying to make sure I got the right memory for my computer. At other websites I kept worrying if the memory chip I was looking at would be compatible with my computer, especially considering how expensive it is.
The thing I loved about MemoryX.com is that instead of searching for a particular memory card (ie 1GB PC2700 16c 64x8 DDR S 333 mHz), their website allows you to plug in the make and model of your laptop or desktop and they make sure to get you the right one for your computer. The 1GB DDR RAM was $369.98. While there may have been a cheaper price at another website, I felt more comfortable purchasing at MemoryX because I felt certain that I was going to get the memory that was compatible with my computer. That really gave me peace of mind.
Their website was very easy to navigate, and when it came time to checkout they had a variety of payment options, as well as shipping options (the one I chose was free Airborne ground for orders over $100.) They sent me an email confirming the transaction, as well as another email once the item shipped which included a tracking number.
I installed the memory a couple of days ago. The computer booted up perfectly afterward, acknowledging the new memory, and the system information also reflected that the RAM had been installed successfully.
I couldn't be happier with my purchase from MemoryX. Now I have no problems when I have multiple programs running and am simultaneously editing large photo files on my computer.
I would highly recommend the merchant to other shoppers.
