Shopping expierence was very good. I would like Marine Dept to offer Fed Ex shipping instead of UPS. Unfortunatly, my reflecters were bent because I could clearly see the box was crushed. But, again I have no complaints with Marine Depot.

Had some issues with my credit card verification. Still don't know if it was the bank or M/D. Received package with broken skimmer. Also received package with missing parts. The missing parts are not being addressed, the skimmer is being replaced.

I've been ordering from Marine Depot since I started keeping reef tanks three years ago. They have always provided great service, shipped my products quickly, and have awesome prices. They also have a nice user forum which is great for getting information.

I ordered an aquarium chiller, which was defective. The chiller was returned and Marine Depot credited the shipping fee. They recommended various other chillers. I selected the Teclima ca200 chiller, which was out of stock. They said the Teclima ra200 was in stock and explained the difference between the two. I ordered the ra200 and am very satisfied with it.

I haven't yet purchased anything from this store. However, their layout is a little frustrating. Specifically, I am looking for aquarium filters. While their text praises each individual brand they carry, they do not provide any guidance as to which filter might be best for specific situations. They also do not indicate the flow rate for the filters, or even the maximum gallons each filter can be expected to handle.
