I placed my order 12/06/04. On 12/20 I got concerned that I hadn't heard anything. It was difficult to find any contact information for the company. I found a phone number, which was long distance & only allowed me to leave a message. The next day someone sent me an e-mail letting me know that the order had been canceled as the item was out of stock. I would have appreciated receiving this information sooner.

I had been looking for a turntable that could play 78" records. Others sites were hard to understand what they selling and the price seemed high. I liked that the unit I bought was self-contained and I didn't have to go looking for amplifiers or sound box. We haven't opened it yet so the last word is not in yet.

Very good price - one of handful of merchants with the product I was looking for - an answering machine with audible message alert for visually impaired family member. Emailed order confirmation and separate confirmation when shipped along with tracking info. Reasonable shipping charges & arrived as scheduled.

In fairness, I did receive ONE fryer but I ordered two and I have yet to receive the second fryer. The 4 attempts at contacting the merchant long distance (merchant does not have toll free number) during THEIR posted hours have been useless. The first three attempts, the phone rang and rang. The last attempt on another day I did get an answering machine. I received a follow up e-mail from Makophone that they sent a fryer (they did but just one, not the two I ordered). I was pleased with the quick response with the delivery of the first fryer but am very disappointed with trying to contact them about the second fryer.
