My original order was for an item that was back-ordered and the vendor failed to notify me of this. When I inquired they were quick to research the problem and offered to substitute the same item in slimline cases for no additional charge. The adjusted order was received in very good time.

received the RR 930 instead of 830, so I had to buy a new micro-cassette tape recorder. I currently have a standard cassettee tape recorder that I like very much which is unusable with the 930 transcriber due to differences in the tape size.

We having been buying our printer supplies for several years from Mako. Always very happy with the prices, and amazed with the always fast turnaround

i purchased an item from makophone as a gift and i changed my mind on the item and sent it back for a refund.

it took multiple tries to contact a customer service rep to issue a return authorization...eventually i was given one and mailed the package back in perfect unopened condition.

it has been over a month, and USPS tracking said their warehouse received the item....but i have still not been issued a refund (which carries a 15% restock fee). i again i am in the process of trying to contact this company to see what the hold-up is and am getting ZERO response.

currently they are holding a $100 item and there has been no refund!!

*Update as of 2-21-08 -- after a few more failed attempts to contact Makophone's customer service, I finally received an email stating that the issue has been resolved and my account has been credited. I certainly appreciated the email and refund. However, I still feel very dissatisfied with the customer service of this company, for I could of easily been given some sort of contact weeks ago saying they were working on processing the refund --- anything would have helped!!

Even though I responded above that I received my order on time, I still have not received the packet of additional paper. MakoPhone tells me that it is backordered even though I was told the paper was in stock at the time my order was initiated. Everything else about this purchasing experience was excellent and I would buy from this vendor again.

Product does not work right. Only way to contact merchant was by email and I haven't rec'd a respose yet. No more web purchases for me. Too difficult to get $ back for product and shipping costs are inflated and way to high.

The site had the item I was looking for, and the price was within my range. I paid for the 2-day express delivery and the package arrived when expected. If I'm looking for similar items in the future I'll check this vendor's site first.

The description of the product said that it would print 6200 pages. I made my decision to purchase the item based on the price per page (including the cost of shipping). When I received the product, it says that it only prints 6,000 pages. The truth might have made a difference in my decision.

The website was easy to retrieve, the product was ordered and i received a confirmation email then the next day i received another one and then the calculators were here. It was wonderful not to have to track them etc as all info was given to me and we received the product in record time
