Magic Cabin

I will NEVER use this company again.  I have ordered twice from them, and both times was informed AFTER my order was placed that the items were on back order.  The items did not ship for several weeks and by then, the birthdays and Christmases were long past.  However, the company managed to bill my credit card at the time my order was placed, not at the time my order FINALLY shipped.  Horrible customer service and no response to my email inquiries.

UPDATE: Just as postage rates were set to increase to be assured of Christmas delivery, Magic Cabin emailed and notified me that my backordered items were not likely to be available until sometime in January.   Now, eight days before Christmas, I have to start shopping for grandchildren all over again and hope I can get their gifts shipped to them in time for Christmas.  I ordered my items from Magic Cabin on November 28 and I'm just now finding out there is a problem.  DO NOT BUY from this company if you expect good customer service!

I want to love this company, but my last couple of orders have been bad experiences. The products are great and they have toys that you cannot find other places and everything always arrives in good condition. My problem is with their shipping time. I ordered items on December 18, with express shipping (which guarantees items to you in 4 business days) and only one item was received-on December 26, and the rest arrived on December 29. I called their customer service number during the week of this order and they told me that everything was in transit and on time. They did refund my shipping charges, but I was disappointed with the overall experience. It seems that it takes 10 business days to receive an order, which I do not understand-one order I placed with them took 11 business days to arrive. I have ordered from other catalog companies and have had the items within 2 business days, without express shipping. This is a good company, but they need to clean up whatever shipping issues they have.

I was lucky to find MC while doing a search for a kitchen play set for my dear daughter. I had seen the exact set on other websites, like Amazon, for at least TWICE as much as MCs. The value, coupled with exceptional customer service e.g. MC responded at times within an hour of an email, the emails were always cordial and friendly, and when I had problems with (an expired) promotional code, MC offered me a valid one to use, all make for a wonderful shopping experience. The kitchen arrived within 7 days of ordering and the quality exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend.

I'm about to make my second order from Magic Cabin and really like their products. I ordered a doll set for making lovies for my kids. Although all the parts needed were'nt there, necessitating a trip to the local craft store, the product was very cute. Easy transaction, I ordered over the phone, but am trying online this time. Great!
