Not very impressed with constant registry errors

Having just gotten married two weeks ago, I had several months to work on, and correct, the mistakes and errors that the Macys.com Wedding Channel registry came up with for me. Odd things happened quite regularly--the numbers I requested of an item would change without me touching them--for example, some of the china plates I requested went from 8 to 12 all on their own. Sheets that I never would have wanted ended up in the registry, complete with separate matching pillowcases. Items that people had already completed ended back up in the "still needs" section, so we ended up making unnecessary returns, and the color of a knife set changed by itself from black to red. Additionally, names I've never heard of went into the "Thank you" section--meaning that this registry must have been crossed with someone else's, or that complete strangers were purchasing presents for us! On top of all this, it was very difficult to keep some items registered for since basic things like colanders and mixing bowls sell out at a unprecedented rate, leaving blank spots in the registry. I had to register for 5 different tea pots alone, since they kept getting put in the red!! You have to log into the account to see this though--so unless you check everyday, you wouldn't know what is suddenly unavailable. Something else irritating was that I changed my ship-to address very early in the process, and yet Macy's continued to ship things to the first address, even after the wedding, though some random packages were sent to the proper address.
