I had a horrible experience with MacMall. It was a Christmas rush, and I ordered shipment $2500 worth to be shipped overnight.

I got it after 2 weeks, and not one, but two!! I was promptly charged $5000, and it took me over a month to actually return the other shipment, because I didn't have any costumer support. I have written 8 times to customer support, and the only answer I got was yesterday, Feb/3rd. Amazing. I spent hours on the telephone, each time with different person, explaining all over again. Web site is no help at all, nobody answers questions at all!

I will definitely never buy anything from MacMall again.

The only negative I can say about them was they forgot to send a rebate, but I was able to get on their site and find it. That was minor, their customer service is very good and their prices are very competitive.

BEWARE, this company is lousy. The person who took my order over the phone did not put my apartment number on the order, and thus UPS couldn't deliver the G4.

UPS then dropped the ball because they shipped it back to MacMall after three business days instead of the customary five business days.

Macmall didn't help the process by not providing a phone number to UPS.

I am now in the process of canceling my order and doing it the old-fashioned way: buying it at a store.

I will be contacting the Mac PR people and letting them know about the woeful customer service I encountered at MacMall.

It took over a month to get the ibook and I had to call repeatedly to find out that the free RAM was the issue. Once it was corrected, it was sent to my billing address and not my shipping address. After a month I still haven't received the earbuds or carrying case and have received no ETA.

The free UPS Ground shipping deal is a scam - I was told my order was eligible for free shipping, but then one item was shipped UPS and the other FedEx, so that I couldn't apply for the rebate. Other than that, they have great deals and an easily navigable website.

Very good service... merchant offered the best price for this product. Customer service is excellent - they followed up via phone and email. The technical side of their website needs a little work... I would have liked to ship to somebody other than the name on the billing information, but it would not allow the fields to be different. Overall, I'm a satisfied customer!

I needed some software for my iMAC and MacMAll had it . The sales rep I talked to gave good advice. Money saving advice, real. Convinced me that the rep cared more about my needs than making a deal. Thank You.

1. It was not disclosed until the purchase was nearly finalized that the product was "open box." The product was materially misrepresented when the purchase began. 2. The "free shipping" turned out to be a rebate, and this too is not disclosed until well into the purchase process. Since 2/3 of rebates never come through, this is a sharp practice if not dishonest. 3. The bad impression made by the above two points, and that the product box came slathered with labels reflecting same, outweighs prompt receipt of the product and smoothness of the web site.

I wanted to purchase a Sony RM-AV2500 Editable Remote and spent a good bit of time checking for the best price and rating of various dealers. My final decision was to order from Mac/PCMall. They were with-in a few dollars of the lowest price and the shipping was reasonable. I placed the order on Monday around 11:00 in the morning and choose the least expensive way to ship, UPS, ground. Quoted shipping time is 3 to 7 business days. Tuesday afternoon at 3:20 the UPS truck pulled up in my driveway. 28 hours from the time the order was placed until it was in my sweaty little hands. It don’t get any better than this. If there were anyway to give Mac/PCMall 10 stars, I would. Oh yeah..the remote is everything I expected. A great way to remove the clutter and super simple to program and use.

Excellent selection and outstanding web site. Excellent prices and very nice deals. Only glitchs seem to be with shipping. Their shipping selections are confusing, but generally reliable. Collecting on shipping rebates can be hit-or-miss. They give you an acknowledgement of when you place the order, but not when it ships. Thus, when the order shows ups can be a surprise. Nevertheless, every order I have placed has arrived exactly as promised and in excellent condition.

I originally ordered the iMac on line, but there needed to be a change. Additional items, necessitated a phone call and rewriting the order. My salesperson was to email the rebat forms, but I have yet to see them. I think I found them on line, if not I'll call.

Trying to purchase an iPod online through MacMall was an entirely disappointing experience using a foreign credit card. They required photos of my credit card, photo id, letter of authorisation, details from my bank and bank statements which I cannot provide as I am living in the US while my bank is in New Zealand. The customer service people were unhelpful and in the end I cancelled my order rather than sending credit card details such as those requested over unsecured sites. Really disappointing!!!

Overall OK experience-- order came in timely fashion, and was as advertised. Tracking was a hassle (can only be done through MacMall website--they don't give you a tracking number, so you can't check with the shipper directly by phone, if you don't have internet access) Elaborate byzantine system of rebates-- I'm apprehensive about actually getting them, but I'm at their mercy now. Here's hoping...
